| SunshineWhile I was sitting in the conservatory this morning, it made me so thankful that God created the sun. He knew that we would need it. It felt so good to have the sun warm my cold feet and the warmth on face was comforting. It also makes me thankful that I have a conservatory to sit in, with all my plants, the cats and Dixie. They love it in there, too. It is truly our morning room.
This is our conservatory.

| It's FridayThe tree did get undecorated and put out for the city to make into mulch. I have nearly all of the decorations down and some packed, but I got sick all over again. I have decided this was a dual-staged virus. It lulls you into thinking you are better so it can hit you hard with a head cold. I am doing better now, but on my guard. I'm going to take it easy and let my body heal, even though the mess of decorations on the dining room table and boxes all over the place are calling my name.
What I need to do is crochet. I need to finish the blanket I'm making for Dotti. I haven't been able to visit her and I'm thinking that I may not recognize her she will have grown so much. Maybe this weekend.
The weather has not been helping. It was rainy and in the 40's yesterday and right now it's in the fifties and the sun is shining. This afternoon it's to get cold again with the possibility of snow on Sunday. Yeah, snow! Now if it will just stay cold. The prediction is for it to be more like January all next week.
Michael and Kristen will be celebrating their first wedding anniversary in 3 days. It's hard to believe that a year has passed already. It just speeds by.
Love to all.

| LifeIt's about time I updated. I have been sick with some sort of virus, but got over it pretty quickly, for me. My asthma is always a concern, but it didn't get bad. I know it was the prayer I received. I still have congestion, but it's manageable.
The weather here is crazy. It's in the low 70's and sunny. Very pretty, but it's winter in the Shenandoah Valley. Where's the snow? And I don't want to hear about global warming. It was like this one Christmas in the mid-1960's in Pittsburgh. We were in shirtsleeves. Anyway, the weather is to get more seasonal this weekend.
The Christmas decorations are very slowly coming down. The biggest job is getting the tree undecorated. I think tonight is the night. Tomorrow is tree pick-up by the city and I would really not like to have to add this to the brush pile. It needs to become mulch. We were going to go see the movie, "Enchanted" this evening, but I think we'll put it off til later in the week. Greg said he would go, but I know he is only doing it because I asked. Maybe I need to see it with Theresa, while John is home on baby leave.
There really isn't much happening here right now, except that I have many, many projects to do, so that's what I'm going to do.
