Well, as usual I had planned on updating alot sooner but never got around to it. This summer is flying by and I can't believe it is July! We had a great time in May with our family and hope to see them again soon!My nephews are so cute and my kids loved hanging out with them! In June we went on our first vacation with all the kids and went to Colorado to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins. We had a wonderful time with family. We went to the Denver Zoo, Estes Park for a picnic and drove to Rocky Mountain National Park for some beautiful scenery! The mountains were just beautiful! We also had lots of time for shopping and watching movies. It was sad to have to leave! The drive down and back was actually pretty good. The kids enjoyed having a TV in the car. They all did good. We are glad to be home though and are hoping for some nice days without any more rain for a while!! Madeline went to bible school and had a wonderful time. She has just started taking gymnastics once a week and really loves it! Sam is talking so much now and comes up with some really funny stuff! He is pretty cute! He is into the Toy Story movies now and wants to watch then nonstop. We are still working on potty training. He is still not too interested. Oh well, maybe he will be soon. Will is cuter than ever . He is finally starting to walk. He still doesn't want you to let go of his hands just yet. He now has a huge appetite and no longer wants baby food. He only wants real food. He is such a good baby! I can't believe he is already a year old!! Time flies. Speaking of that, on Sunday, we will have been married for 12 years!! We are planning on a nice quiet dinner alone! Well, that is all the excitement for now. I will post some pictures soon.

A very busy April

Man, am I glad April is over! It was a busy month! To start off a couple of weeks ago I received a summons for jury duty, again! See I already fulfilled my civic duty 7 years ago and although I enjoyed being on a jury for a week then, with 3 small children to take care of I wasn't sure what I was going to do. I am also still nursing my 10 month old. So thankfully, my husband made a few phone calls and was able to get me excused.

Tyle's birthday was the 21st, we went to dinner and a movie which was a lot of fun. We went to see "Blades of Glory" which was very crude but funny. Then my sister's birthday was on the 23rd. Finally, Madeline's 6th birthday was on Sunday the 29th. We reserved a "play area" at a place called Fun Stop and had a great time. I can't believe she is already six, where has the time gone?!?

We are excited because my brother-in-law and his family are coming to visit us from Florida in a few weeks. This will be the first time that all of the kids have been together. We have lots of activities planned.

Hello all!

I have wanted to update a long time ago, but life has been busy lately. We all were sick for sometime, but are all on the mend. I have been doing the bible study Calm My Anxious Heart . We have been learning alot about what it really means to be content and not complain, so I will try to focus on the positives! Here are just a few good things that have happened lately,

1. Tyle( my husband) is going back to school to finish his degree and it is really going well so far!

2. I have found a neighbor to car pool with, so I don't have to get the boys up from their nap early to get Madeline from school!.

3. My husband and I will be married 12 years in July, and he is getting me a new wedding ring that I have been wanting for some time now! It is so beautiful!

4. My dishwasher broke, but it was under warranty, so after waiting 2 weeks I got a brand new dishwasher that is a litter nicer than the last one!

5. The kids have been so cute lately! We are always laughing around here!

I know there are many more things too!

This is totally random, but Tyle got an Nintendo Wii, and it is so much fun. My 5 year old has already figured out how to play it. I am not a big fan of video games, but this one is so much fun! My arm was sore the other day from bowling so much! Tennis is alot of fun too!

What a cold day!! We have snow and ice outside, so we will be stuck inside for another day. The kids are begging to go outside, but it is just too cold! I am glad tomorrow is a holiday. I am happy to report that the kids have not been sick lately! I hope it will stay that way!Not much else going on.

I have been tagged so here are 6 weird things about me:

1) I love boiled peanuts! Being from the south I can really appreciate them! I can find them here in a can,and I buy them as my "treat". My husband thinks they are so gross!

2) I hate cats! I think it is because I am allergic to them. I am sorry to all my friends who have them, but I think they all have an evil look in their eyes. Kittens are cute, but when they get big they better stay away from me!

3) I have at least 5 bottles of shampoo in the house at all times.I am a hairstylist and I love to try new ones. I do get a discount on them, so why not? I just don't want to run out. What would people think of me if I had dirty hair?

4)I do not enjoy watching sports! I try to pretend to like football , especially when OU is playing, but I usually dream about all the things I would rather be doing.

5) I am always early to everything! I try to be right on time, but always seem to get there early anyway. I hate to be late!

6)The first thing I notice about someone is their hair. As I mentioned before, I am a hairstylist and I guess it is out of habit to look at their hair before anything else. Consequently I am not happy when my hair is not looking it's best.

I think I finally have a few minutes to relax. The past couple of weeks have been very hectic. Madeline once again caught some virus and proceeded to pass it to Will. After a few days of sickness Will got a double ear infection! So that night I got zero sleep. Thankfully he is feeling much better now. In all this Sam has somehow been fine. I am thankful for that. On a brighter note we had a great Christmas! The kids felt pretty good that day. It was fun to be with all the family. We are now trying to get back on schedule. Madeline is back in school,which she is really happy about! I have hardly been to the gym,so I plan to get back this week. I am also thrilled that my mom has finally quit her job and will be able to help me out alot more now My sisters and I will have to fight over who gets her first!

We are starting a new bible study tonight called "Bringing Up Boys" I am looking forward to it. Well I have to go feed the baby, here are a few pictures.

Christmas Time is Here!

I can't believe there are only 5 days until Christmas! I finally got all of my Christmas shopping done. I am looking forward to Christmas this year. The kids are going to have fun. It has been really busy lately, we had two Christmas parties. One was for my husband's work and one for the Oklahoma Paint Association. They were both a lot of fun. Madeline has been sick the last few days and missed school. She finally went back today which was the last day of school before Christmas break. She is really excited for Christmas to be here. Sam had a cold last week, but he seems to be doing better now. Will is sitting up now and should be getting his first tooth any time. He has managed to stay healthy so far. Here is the Christmas picture we sent out, it is the only one where Sam is looking at the camera. Well it looks like we may be getting snow on Christmas this year, that would be a lot of fun. Well, I had better go for now, I hope everyone has a good Christmas.

Well we finally got our first snow of the season. Madeline had a blast playing in the snow, although Sam didn't play in it much. We were out of school for two days, so we were stuck at home. I will be glad to get back to our normal routine. Will turns 6 months next week. He is close to sitting up and can say "Da Da". We are really looking forward to Christmas this year, Madeline asks me everyday "How many more days until Christmas?" I know it will be here sooner than we think. the time has finally come...

So to celebrate my son's 2nd birthday, I decided to do the unthinkable;I took away his pacifier! He was only able to have it at nap time and bed time, but he was really attached to it. The first night he couldn't believe I could be so heartless not to let him have the only thing in his life that really mattered to him.He cried for 30minutes and finally gave up. Lets just say that nap time has not gone too well this week. I am beginning to wonder if it was worth it, I mean so what if he has a paci ? I guess it is too late to turn back now. I hope he will forget about it soon! In other news I took Madeline to the dentist this week and she has 6 cavities!!! I feel like the worst parent ever! I really do brush her teeth every day twice. It will only cost us an arm and a leg to get them filled. Hopefully my boys will have better teeth than her!

I am really looking forward to thanksgiving.It will be nice to have a break in the usual routine. My husband will be off a couple of days,so that will be nice. I will not have to do much cooking either, so I am happy about that. I hope everyone has a great holiday! I have to go and finish a cake I am making for a party tonight.It is with our sunday school class, so it should be fun. I now hear my son crying;where is the paci fairy now?

So my friend Heidi convinced me to have my own blog and I am just getting around to it .I am a little intimidated because her entry's are so funny,and am not a writer like she is. Oh well, I will do my best. I will begin by saying I am a busy mom and loving every minute of it. My kids are so much fun. My daughter is in kindergarten and it is strange to have her gone all day. My son Sam just turned two and has no desire to ever sit still. He is quite crazy. My baby Will is 5 months now and is an angel. My days consist of taking Madeline to school, going to the gym, making lunch, cleaning the house all while keeping up with two kids under 2.Thankfully I have a wonderful husband who after working 9 hours comes home and does dishes and helps with the kids!I feel blessed every day.So, moving on, Is anyone else mad that Lost is over for 13weeks I dont know if I can handle the suspense. I am so hooked on that show! I know that should not make me so upset, but it doesGood thing I can still enjoy The Office and Survivor . Okay, Heather, how am I doing so far? Well better go for now. Must watch The Amazing race
