We moved! It's So nice to have my own place again. We got a washer & dryer yesterday. I have NEVER owned my own washer & dryer. I need to go home and use them. :) I am at my mom's. That's one thing I don't have, a computer. So I will have to make do using this one. Not like i'm not going to be here all the time anyway. LOL Last week was a little sad for me. But I did discover something I  didn't know and thought it was pretty cool. Oct 3 was the anniversary of when I lost Anna, my other little girl. Ashleigh's twin. The odd thing I NEVER realized until last week was that I lost one on Oct 3rd and had the other Dec 3rd. Thought that was kind of neat for some reason. Ashleigh is doing so well. She is trying to scoot now. She has this thing about channel changers and if you put one in the floor just out of her reach, she will try and scoot to get it. She just started that Monday. I was hoping she would crawl before she walked, and maybe she will. She is trying to pull herself up from a sitting position to standing. She's getting SO big.

Well, I need to get off here and head home. Want to be there in time for Dancing with the Stars! Have a great week.

Update

Ok, so I guess it's time for a little update. I went for my support hearing yesterday and saw my sperm donor for the first time in over a year. He got to see my little girl. He did what I thought he would and asked for a paternity test. I'm not surprised. He's pretty much a jerk. So, I can go and get the results in about 4 weeks and then the support hearing is not until Dec. They sure aren't in any hurry to get this done. And let me just say, that was the most unorganized place I've been too in a long time. I know they do that all the time, so you'd think they could come up with a better system than that, you know. So, that's over with for now and I'm relieved. I was sick to my stoch just thinking of having to see him, and him seein her.

Ashleigh is doing great! At her 9 month checkup a couple of weeks ago she was 22 lbs and I think 28" long. She is sitting up pretty well all on her own. She tends to lean forward some still, but does better sitting up straight for longer periods of time. She loves when I sing to her. Especially when I sing Jesus Loves Me or 1,2,3 Jesus Loves Me. She will just look up at me a grin. When she is fussy as SOON as I start she stops and just looks. :) It's SO cute.

Some big news for me. My sister and I are cutting the apron strings and moving out of my Mom's house! YEEHA We got a place at Eagle's Point. They are such cute places and really reasonable right now. I'm SO excited. I just hope Elisabeth can find a job who can give her some hours so she can make money to give to me! She just got her first car and that's exciting too, but it does cost money. Nothing's ever free, except the couch and chair my aunt is giving me! LOL

Well, that pretty much covers the basics. Hope everyone is having a great week.

Interesting day

Well, I made it back from Oregon. I, again had a BLAST while I was there. It was just awesome. Everyone worked together so well and got along at work and outside of it. We spent like 12-14 hrs a day with each other so that is a good thing! :) We went to the beach again and to the water falls. I wanted to see Mount St Helen, but we didn't have enough time in the week. That would have been a weekend trip, which was for a couple of the girls that stayed over the weekend last weekend. I met the most hilarious people there. I wish I could do that all the time. There was really no bickering or backstabbing like what goes on in other places. I know in a perfect world and in normal circumstances we may not have all gotten along or continued to do so. I just know it was one of the best traveling experiences I've had so far. There is going to be another in Pheonix either in Oct or after the beginning of the year and Mike Graves, the director of this, said he wants to use the same people since we have been trained now. I would LOVE to go. Hopefully I will be able too. We shall see.

I had an interesting day. I saw my baby's "sperm donor" walking down the street as I was going to church for play practice this afternoon. I called my boyfriend Chris and had to leave a msg on his voicemail about it. Chris came over later that evening and I asked him if he got my message and he said yes. He said he also found Dave, that's the sperm donor's name. Chris got in his car and went to find him as soon as he got my message. He said he wanted to beat the crap out of him, but that wouldn't have done any good. He talked to him and basically told him he had a daughter who was 9 mo old today and he should take the initiative to see her. Dave tried to tell Chris I told him I didn't want him to have anything to do with her, which is bull and CHris knew that and called him out on it. Nothing major happened, no punches were thrown or anything like that, thank goodness. I'm sure Dave would have pressed charges. I just thought it was so sweet that he would do that for my little girl. He means the world to me and I'm SO glad to have him in my life. I've been having a lot of turmoil in my life recently, some my own doing and some not, and he has been one of the constant things in my life. I thank God every day for him!! Hope everyone has a great week!

My trip

I had an awesome time in OR. The 2nd largest yr round water fall was about 20 min away and the ocean was about 75 miles away so I got to see both of them. Mount St Helen is about 2 hrs away from us too, but I didn't get to see that. Maybe next week. I'm going again, possibly for another 2 weeks, but we won't know that for sure until later in the week. St Helen has got some activity. It's been smoking and spewing some ash and lava is bubbling up to the surface. Not sure what would happen if it actually erupted, but hopefully nothing will come of it. The girls on the team were hilarious! We just had a blast from start to finish. Oh, Monday night we went to downtown Portland. It was interesting. We had a guy try to sell us a car and some discounted medical & dental insurance! LOL We were cracking up. I am looking forward to going back. It's been a nice break from the everyday job here. Not that my job is boring by any means, its just nice to have a little change now and again. I missed my girl something awful, but she was in good hands. My sister Elisabeth pretty much took care of her. my Mom and other 2 sisters helped out some, but Elisabeth got a little taste of being a single Mom. Maybe it will keep her celibate. :) Well, I need to get packing. Did laundry yesterday and went to Walmart this evening after my small group from church. I'm SO tired. OR is 3 hours behind so my time is messed up.  Hope everyone has a great week!

This week

Well, this week did NOT turn out like I thought it would. We got word Wed. afternoon that my Dad's hearing was canceled. I was SO bummed. My sister Rebekah said my Dad did not sound good on the phone when he called. It was postponed due to the judge's schedule. There was some guy who had a plea bargain in and then backed out of it and the judge decided for some unknow reason to start the guys trial the day my Dad was to have his hearing. The judicial system SUCKS! How do people that are CLEARLY guilty get off on some stupid technicality and a man who is clearly NOT guilty still be in prison. I can't for the life of me figure this out. This came as a total shock since they already postponed in 3 other times. It will be at least another month, but we haven't heard for sure when it will be. Please pray my Dad will be uplifted somehow through all of this. I know there is a reason God has him there, but I wish He would just reveal it. Guess this is how He answers prayer for patience huh? ;)

Some good news. Ashleigh's first tooth came in on Wed too. She had a pretty cranky day at the sitter's, and later on we found out why! Speaking of sitters, if anyone knows someone who babysits for not a lot of money, I'm looking for one again. Mine is homeschooling her kids and its just getting to be too much and my Mom just has a really hard time doing it full time. If anyone can recommend someone I would be greatful! Well, I will be off to Oregon Monday. Pray I will be safe and won't have too hard of a time being away from my girl! I just hope she doesn't do any "firsts" while I'm gone. Have a great week!
