Bachelor's Degree: necessary to apply for a job, but completely useless for actually getting one. ('Cuz jobs now require a whole different skill set that can't be obtained in school.)

Sucks to be us, the recently graduated who have spent the past 4+ years trying to get a meaningless-- but hideously expensive-- education that won't even help us rise above the poverty line...

It turns out that I won't be moving to WI. I just got a message informing me that the company at which I had applied decided to go with a different candidate. Booo!

So I remain jobless and reluctant to continue the seemingly-endless employment searching.

On the bright side, however--as I was informed by my friend Kayleigh-- the "only good thing in WI is Jenny" anyway, so I guess I'll just have to keep on looking....

That's right-- I have red hair now. Kick. Ass.

Hey, friends. I'm back in GR, missing Florlando. Vacation was GREAT and, while I'm sad that it's over, I'm also glad to be back home & out of the intense/searing heat.

I'm still on the lookout for jobs here in GR. Have any of you had an epiphany as to places I could seek employment here in MI? I certainly haven't had any such insights, but while I was in Orlando I received an e-mail from the WI company and have an interview with them coming up. We'll see how that goes; Jenny & Tim are also going to be giving me the inside scoop while I'm there... Additionally, I've been giving serious consideration to going down to FL to 'work for the Mouse,' but I don't think I'd be cut out to survive the surface-of-the-sun temperatures during the summer. But I don't know where else to turn at the moment really. Hmmmm.....

If anyone is interested in hanging out this week, give me a call. My cell's been dying on me a lot lately (I'm not sure if it's a battery problem, a charger problem or a problem with the phone itself), but you shouldn't have much trouble reaching me.

Go Red Wings! Wooooohooooooo!!

*PS: Things I Want to Accomplish in the Coming Months
1) Find a job
2) Finish my scrapbook of European exploits
3) Get in better shape-- biking, swimming, walking, whatever it takes
4) Clean & organize (my room, my desks, my computer, etc.)
5) Change my style & girl-ify myself on a regular basis
6) Get out more and live
