These two kiwi's are hilarious. The comedic value from their music and acting reminds me of the good ole' days of SNL skits. Chris Farley as Matt Foley who lived in a van down by the river, Kevin Nealon and the Weekend Update, Dana Carvey as the Church Lady, Rob Schneider as Richard Laymer The Richmeister, David Spade's Hollywood Minute, and Adam Sandler's very own music: Lunchlady Land and The Chanukah Song. All this to say that Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie are very talented entertainers and will leave you asking, "how do they not break character and laugh?!" Flight of the Conchords Season 2 will premiere sometime this year on HBO, and the release of their self titled album is due out April 22nd, 2008. For now you can go and get their Grammy-award winning EP titled The Distant Future! Its only 5 bucks at Best Buy!

**Do not be mislead by the 'Boy Band' title. They are more 'Big' than 'Boy Band'. What I mean is, can you think of any other famous New Zealanders? Russell Crowe technically doesn't count since he spent most of his years after birth in Australia. Other notables from the NZ include Lucy Lawless (Xena the Warrior Princess) and Sean Marks. For those unfamiliar with the NBA, Sean Marks is the other white guy on the Phoenix Suns. If you google image 'Sean Marks Phoenix Suns', this is the only picture that comes up. Sean Marks, great job backing up Brian Skinner and being from NZ!

Beep Beep Bye Bye Jeep?

I'm thinking about purchasing a new car. My Jeep feels like an abandoned dog living in this vibeless suburb of America--not to mention 16mpg just isnt cutting it anymore with 45min traffic infested commutes to work.

I've been checkin out the MINI Cooper S Convertible in Dark Silver. I got to test drive one this past wknd in Va Beach and everything i've read about the 'top of the line handling' is true--its legit stuff man. Despite the blindest blindspot I've ever seen, the 6speed supercharged MINI gave me such a rush I think I'd be able to forget about offroading. Here's basically what I picked out shown below. Just replace the background with condos and townhouses, shopping centers, and factories of namby pamby riches. gah.

and for some of the haters, I thought this review was funny

"...the Cooper S both quicker and more efficient, as well as even more of a performance car. Performance? Yes, in terms of the driving experience. When enthusiasts say a car is fun, they aren't talking about its looks. Any guy who dismisses the Cooper as a "girl car" is only hurting himself."

DISCLAIMER :: The following content is a bit gross.

I dislocated and fractured my right index finger playing basketball Monday night.
I really wish I took a picture of my hand with someone's camera phone
but nevertheless, here are some pictures provided by "Paint" artist Michael Lee.

just kidding, heres what it really looked like.....

I remember when it happened I was yelling alot and my immediate reaction was to walk over to Peter Kim. I remember crying to Pete to help me, but he couldnt even look at me being disgusted at the sight of my finger. Thinking back on this, I think its pretty cool that I initially looked to Pete to help me. I guess throughout the years of our friendship I've come to really trust this guy to help me with my life--or even the life of my finger.

For now I'm on meds and my finger's on a splint, slowly healing.
The prescribed drugs for my pain is a narcotic and it gets me really happy and trippy.
Come over if you want some, but you have to stay and play with me.

This has been the 2nd most painful experience I've gone through that I can remember.
Freshman year when JeeHee dyed my hair blonde and my scalp felt like it was burning still ranks the highest.

Besides the physical discomfort, its been kinda psychologically traumatizing.
The feeling and the sound my finger made when the Doc yanked it back is pretty haunting.
And also the way my finger was shaped keeps flashing back in my mind like a scene from a scary movie.
I wake up freaked out and check to make sure my finger is still straight.

The most noticeable annoying changes in my everyday life bcuz of this incident so far have been:
- wiping my ass with my left hand
- typing and the darn left-click mouse button
- the narcotics. oooohhhh maaaaan the narcotics.

Throughout this whole ordeal,
I love Mike even more for literally being my right-hand man.
and THANKS again to all the brothers who stayed in the ER room waiting for me.

Its kinda cool walking around the office and seeing how many pages of espn.com or NCAA bracket websites are up on people's working desks.
I basically stopped watching the NCAA tournament as G'town is the only VA school left. Although a bit late, I pay respects to one of the best college games ive ever watched. VCU, DUKE. Maynor. Maynor. Maynor. I love how this sophomore guard made Paulus look like such a douchebag. /salute

GEESE POLICE

On my way to work this morning i sat next to this car in traffic.

"We only use working Border Collies because it is the only dog breed among other herding dogs that use a wolf-like glance called the "eye". This intense stare influences the flock into flight or movement. The geese perceive this stalking manner as predatory behavior and threatening."

This "eye" is some serious business. I thought about who I knew IRL that have this similar "eye effect". And a particular person kept popping up in my mind. She has powers similar to the border collie. She can remove crowds of people with a mere ghastly glance. Shes one person you just dont want to eff with.
