| Romans 13:13
Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.

| V for Vendetta was really good. I would see it if I were you.
A movie I will not be seeing is this movie they are making about 9-11. I dont want to go through the worst day in our history again. Its about the plain that went down, because of the men that attacked the hijackers... never the less.. I dont want to relive that at all.
its like 90 out right now. Now that its here, I just want it to stay. No more cold. |

| P.A. was real fun.
Road trips are great. And I had a blast. But there were a few sidetracking events. On the way to MU, some stupid tornado exploded I70 and we sat at a dead stop for an hour... we got out and ran around. On the way home, we actaully drove through a tornado... It threw us around like a rag doll.. we are lucky the car never left the ground... and then as quickly as it came.... it left.
We figured out that the time change happens at the Indiana bourder, and that birds should never play chicken with us, we win.
we were gone for 70 hours and were in the car for about 35 of them.

I googled road tripping... and this was the first picture.... GROUND!!! |

| Anyways....
Church was really good today. Doug is talking about the Davinci Code. I read the book before, but didnt find it that frusterating at the time, because I wasnt really reading it in that mind set.. I was reading it as fiction... But I really thought a lot today, about how non-christians might take it. And the fact that the first word in the book is FACT.. and then he goes on to site things that are not FACT at all. Thats pretty careless writing. It really would make me not want to believe any of what the author says now... or even go along with his "fiction" Because its pretty clear that he is trying to get a point across.. otherwise he wouldnt have sited all of those "FACTS" at the begining of the book. Clearly when this movie comes out it wont have the same impact as like.. the passion of the Christ did.. but it will be interesting none the less.
That Dan Brown is full of lies.

| Playing basketball tonight... I saw how I dont want to be 15-20 years from now. Sometimes we learn from other peoples mistakes. I play with these guys every monday night, and I find myself getting so frusterated, and wanting to say something to a few of them... We play at a church, and some of these guys go to the church, and some of us dont. The guys that dont are not the best guys, and could really use a positive male figure.... but instead these old guys that go to this church, are jerks, and talk down to them like they are second class people. It makes me so mad sometimes, but I guess all I can take from this is how not be. And I try to befriend these other guys, and hopefully get them to see that not every body that goes to church are jerks...
BUT it really makes you think... These guys that dont go to church, relate church to the jerks we play with, and how they might be treated if they went to church. (i know because i talk to them about it) So the way we treat people is more important, than making a friend or not making a friend. It may bring people towards church, or push them away. |
