Wow I'm actually updating every so often now !
hahaaha but I'll probably stop now since I just said that
But I don't have a lot of time to talk online anymore!
So I guess I resort to xanga to communicate! COMMUNICATE!!!!!

So whats new sidney?!
Hey
so, guess what, we had our first field hockey game today at Riverside!
I know I sound kinda happy right now, but haha, we lost !
Those girls were so aggressive and manly and uhhhhh... Whatever!~
We're not supposed to push and shove ! DONT PUSH AND SHOVE!
I
had a huge urge to do it back to them, but then me being me I think I
would go a little too far with that and make it too noticable and I'd
get called on hahaha
But even though we lost, it's okay ! IT'S OKAY
Partly cuz its a team game and its not all you if you lose. Thats one goood thing!
And
although we lost, I think it was pretty fun.. Well I wasn't very good,
but WHATEVER what can you expect from a player who's only had 2
practices?
Not much, thats what. Thats what I tell you. Thats what I tell me.

And
my teammates are kinda crazy hyper kind of girls lol, and theygive me
lots of tips and advice before and during the game, and the coach tells
me I shouldn't be too hard on myself , especially for at least a few more games.
In a way, that message means I suck hahahaha, but we all knew that.
But
on the bright side, that means they are sympathetic of my skill and
aren't screaming at me from the sides or anything because that's what I
thought would happen and that's what didn't happen, so I am quitee
satisfied !

And of course they all tell you it was a good first
game for me and stuff haha, and I know they are just giving me lines
but it was nice to hear and those kinds of things are what encourage me
most and I know I sound cheesy right now but hey I love cheese, don't
you? And I'm sure there was some truth in it to some extent. Even they
said themselves, it's the first game of the league so it's okay we
lost. I can takecriticism. In fact, I "appreciate" it when they tell me
what I'm doing wrong and yell out advice to me from across the field.

Apparently
they lost all the games last yr hahaha so I guess this year couldn't be
so bad or as bad cuz u can't get bad-er than that !

Hey I'm somewhat okay now! I'm out I'm out HEY THERES A LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL!
Maybe this school year won't be so bad I hope I hope
Hey I typed a lot here huh~ I sound like an 8th grader with all
the exclamation marks and I dunno, I just sound like one! <-- See!
<--See! <--See!
Growing old is a must...... Growing up is optional muahahahaaaaaaa
...But ya I think I should grow up.

HEY WOW Look at the time! I'm actually gonna be able to get to sleep before 12 !
I am sooooo eeeexcited ! Excited excited excited !
I can't wait to curl up in a ball in my bed and pull the blanket over and just sleep and sleep and sleep !
THis is so exciting, I better stop typing or else I'll lose it! hahaha

Love & Peace......... And be good, guys. Be good to each other.
Saturday, September 16, 2006
Light the Night Walk 2006 - for Leukemia and Lymphoma .. people..
In other words.. cancer people... JAY's NEW ALBUM IS OUT TODAY
i feel so out of it this year.. i haven't even pre-ordered it two weeks ahead of time like last year.
i wish it didn't come out around the start of school. thats not cool..

darn. im so boring. i have nothing to say..
except..
why are all my english classes always full of skaters, preps and posers??
B.O. (please shower!), greasy long hair or curly ones with dandruff, smelly clothes and smart-alecks..
girls with hair dyed three different colours, tight jeans which make
their fat ooze over, and whatever style of new low cut frilly whatevers
that are "like, so hot" this fall..

there are the occasional neutral kids...
but you'll only get so many of them , plus a few quiet kids like me,
but we all know the quiet ones are the ones with "real trouble"..
We'll be seeing them (us, I should say) on TV in 40 years or so,
getting arrested for something hysterical like throwing cats at passing
children from our homes.
Now everybody thinks I'm stupid and insane
but putting that aside and getting back to my point,
where is everybody??
its not like you'll ever see too many asian kids in one english class
cuz all the asian kids are still in ESL

well i guess i do have things to say afterall.
geez i say stupid things
(im not very nice though. ive become old & bitter
and ill probly grow up to be a plump lady who lives alone and is only
invited to dinners and stuff because people feel sorry for me.....................
ya, i think i need to change my way of thinking =T )
but i think that is the truth to some extent
maybe not so much the part about the quiet kids

and ps~ i miss you erin !
(not like she comes here anyway, but not like i have much to say..
I actually update every now and then sort of... Except I just end up Private-ing them after i finish.
cuz they are so boring and pointless.. Maybe i should un-private-ize everything. he he he)
the school and its systems have worsened without you =(
and im sure you would hate these grade nines with all your heart =) haha

Today I am going to share with you all my great ideas for travel
because I have nothing better to do right now than to talk like this. I
stopped calling them plans because my plans never work. But I am going
to have a lot of fun. More fun than you. Unless you come with me on my
trips. Then you will have fun too =D

I am going to start in EUROPE ♡ In my Europe trip, I will be going with
Jane and Cherman and we will have so much fun because there's nothing
better than to go on a trip with your best friends
Where in Europe... Hmm hehehe! Looking at my agenda's World Map,
going down the list are the places we will stop by: (Btw, I think we
should go cruising too =D)

Belgium
Czech Republic (Was it this place? Or was it another place? I forgot. They all sound alike.)
Shall we go to Finland? Ummm.. Maybe. Scotland for sure though hahaha
FRANCE oh yes.
Germany
Greece
Italy , oh yea~
Portugal?
Spain
Sweden (Guys, we've got to find the guy who owns Ikea)
Switzerland
And the UK

France, Italy and UK are my top 3. Everything else is just on the way haha. Like.. we'll pick up a box of chocolates in Belgium thats all. Just kidding. I'll make sure we find part time jobs at a chocolate factory and then eat and eat and eat and make them go bankrupt and then we'll get fired and be in lots of trouble but thats okay because we'd already have ran away by jumping on a pickup truck carrying a sack of potatoes in the back and made friends with the hillbillies hanging out on the wagon as well.
We'll say goodbye to our bum-friends once we reach France. Our first destination.

First thing we'll do is we'll comfort ourselves up by finding a nice cozy cafe where we'll eat different kinds of cheesecake every afternoon and have free cheese samples. There, a young French boy with a thick French accent will be working and he and Jane will fall deeply in love on the first day. Then Cherman and I will have more cheesecake and cheese samples. Everyone is happy.

One day, while French boy is giving Jane a ride around Paris on his shiny red scooter, Cherman and I will go to a cheese and wine factory. I decided not to go to a cheesecake factory because then that would mean those cheesecakes will be packaged and won't be fresh. And that's not cool. SO. The cheese factory will have pools of different cheeses and it will smell so bad there but that's okay because the love is there. At the wine factory, I am going to make friends with a wine maker and s/he will teach me how to make wine and I will make a bottle and send it with love to my dear Jay. The winemaker and I will exchange MSN emails but we won't end adding each other on so that's the end of our friendship.

Then some other day, we'll be in Paris and go shopping and we'll see a bunch of loser teens smoking and puffing away on their cigarettes. Then we'll duck into a store to avoid the smoke and we will see Madonna shopping there. Personally, I am not really a fan of Madonna but we'll get her autograph and she'll smile at us and leave with her big buff bodyguards. Then we'll sell the autograph to the girl at the counter for money because Madonna didn't like the girl at the counter since she couldn't give her a discount on the sparkly silver high heels that costed $876. The girl at the counter is happy and so are we.
Cherman will buy a sparkly blazer, Jane will buy a fluffy scarf and me, a beret! Haha

We will spend the rest of the money we made and go to an expensive restaurant and eat escaragot, French bread and all that good stuff. Cherman will make friends with the waiter and the waiter will keep giving us free mints and appetizers. At night, for some reason, it will snow and everything will be so pretty and we will go up to the Eiffel tower and enjoy the view. I'll say "Hey! I can almost see Brazil from here!" and Cherman will say "Sidney. Brazil is on a different continent on the other hemisphere. I don't think you can see Brazil, buddy." Then I will be disappointed for the rest of the night. Meanwhile, Jane had just spotted French guy with another girl while she was using those Pay-Binocular things. Her heart is broken but it's okay because Cherman and I are here. Yay. Since everyone is unhappy now, we will move onto the UK and Italy.

But I'll save that for later. See you next time on Euro Tour with Sidney.

Saturday, May 20, 2006
1リットルの涙~
Even if I’m lost in a crowd I can see the same sky
Even though I'm chilled as if I'm being blown by the wind

I don't know anything about you, do I?

And yet, I found you amongst a billion people

There's no (scientific) basis for this, but I believe this with all seriousness

We can't live at the same time without trivial fights
If I can't be honest, then rapture and sorrow are meaningless

Powdered snow, if you paled me white to the heart
Can you share our loneliness?

I pressed my ear against your heart
Going gently, deeply towards where the sound (is coming from)
(That's where) I want to disembark,
There, we'll meet once again

I want us to reach rapport but I was the (only) one who touched its surface
The only thing that was holding us together was my hand squeezing yours that was numb with cold
Powdered snow, in front (of us), eternity, too fragilely, becomes a stain upon rough asphalt
Powdered snow, this heart that has transcended time is faltering
And yet, I want to continue to protect you

Powdered snow, if you paled me white to the heart
You would wrap around our loneliness and send it back into the sky

------

..something a little cheesy but worthy to post i think, hahaha~ ...

"All I Ever Needed To Know, I learned in Kindergarten"
~by Robert Fulghum

"Most
of what I really need to know about how to live, and what to do, and
how to be, I learned in kindergarten. Wisdom was not at the top of the
graduate school mountain, but there in the sand box at nursery school.

These are the things I learned. Share everything. Play fair. Don't hit
people. Put things back where you found them. Clean up your own mess.
Don't take things that aren't yours. Say you are sorry when you hurt
somebody. Wash your hands before you eat. Flush. Warm cookies and milk
are good for you. Live a balanced life. Learn some and think some and
draw some and paint and sing and dance and work everyday.

Take a nap every afternoon. When you go out into the world, watch for
traffic, hold hands, and stick together. Be aware of wonder. Remember
the little seed in the plastic cup? The roots go down and the plant
goes up and nobody really knows how or why. We are like that.

And then remember that book about Dick and Jane and the first word you
learned, the biggest word of all: LOOK! Everything you need to know is
there somewhere. The Golden Rule and love and basic sanitation,
ecology, and politics and the sane living.

Think of what a better world it would be if we all, the whole world,
had cookies and milk about 3 o'clock every afternoon and then lay down
with our blankets for a nap. Or we had a basic policy in our nation and
other nations to always put things back where we found them and clean
up our own messes. And it is still true, no matter how old you are,
when you go out into the world, it is best to hold hands and stick
together. "

- Robert Fulghum

THANKS Rob~ hahaha, isnt that nice?!
