How happy are you?

Not a surprise actually..

***You Are 88% Happy***

It's unlikely that you know anyone happier than you.
You know how to be happy, no matter what life throws at you.

Now the next best alternative is Austin Texas... ho dumb ar!!!!

Fasting for 36 hours

I think most people experienced fasting from participating in 30 hour famine.  Actually 30 hour famine is not really fasting because you fill yourself up with juices of all kind, and most people secretly eat stuff half way.

It's funny to fast when you are not religious.  Because people would look at your weird and ask "WHY?".  Well, why not?!  People put themselves thru the gym, that is needless suffering for training of your physical body.  Well, I think fasting is the same needless suffering for training of your spiritual self.  Man, you'd surprised how much more you'd be able to concentrate when you are feeling damn hungry!

Anyways, I remember reading a report from Scientific American that fasting for a day every 2 weeks is very good for your health.  Because it stimulate your innate ability to adjust for changing calorie intake, it's healthier because we are built this way.  Caveman didnt' have the steady calorie stream that we have, and our body is built for the caveman lifestyle.

As for religious people, they are crazy.  One of my colleague put himself through a 40 days juice fast.  Juice fast meaning, you eat nothing but juice.  Milk is not permitted.  Man, 40 days!  how does that ever happen?  I didnt' think it was humanly possible.  But he said once you get thru the first 3 days, it's much easier afterwards.  That is ridiculous, I am sure his IQ went down 5 point because of malnutrition of the brain.

Nationality

July 4th firewords at Union bay was spectacular yesterday.  Being almost crowd-phobic, I have never went to see the fireworks from the main site.  After watching the glittering sparkles almost raining on me, and music like "fly me to the moon" playing alongside the synchonized lighting works, it was all worth it.

It's amazing how many asians are there in Seattle.  But these are not of the Vancourite kind, being the stuff that has been in the american melting pot.  They even brand themselves with stars and stripes, red and blue.  Within a sea of American Patriots, I strikes me odd that I actually have never celebrated a Canada day, nor October 1st, nor July 1st.

Maybe as a honger, we have lived under ambiguity for so long, that we are comfortable with the vaguest sense of who we are.  Of coures, some of us would brand themselves one way or other.  Some would be deeply anti-mainland china, thinking that compared to them we are somewhat superior.  Some would be deeply anti-american, thinking they are just bullies.  What's magical is that some would be both.   It's funny that nobody realizes that these are two conflicting proposition.  Maybe some would give thought to it and find out that it's too hard to sort thru their ideology and give up.  Or more likely, they may never even have thought about it; they just don't give a fuck.
