I just came back from Boracay, Philippines 2 days ago. It was totally amazing! Boracay is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world with its crystal clear water and white sand.  I didn't care for Manilla so much... it seemed kind of sketchy. My friend Tracy and I spent 8 days on this exotic island. We stayed at Nigi Nigi Too which is a tiki hut style resort. We had this fantastic balcony and was really close to all the hot attractions. Unfortunately there was no TV or fridge in our hut, but wasn't all to bad.

We mostly stayed out late every night anyhow. I am so freakin' tan now! Ugh. I almost look Filipino with my dark skin. During the day we'd lay out on the beach for hours and then get cookies & cream frappes at Cafe Christina. At night we'd go to D'mall for a relaxing dinner, foot massage, or listen to live music on the beach.

We splurged on facials at this really fancy spa which had a sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi. The long trip from Korea to Boracay was exhausting. We had to take 2 planes, a tuk-tuk twice, and a ferry. Our plane ticket was close to $1,000. It was all worth it though. I've never had so much fun in my life! I took so many photos....close to 300 maybe. I'm still in the process of uploading. *sigh* I hate being back at work. Summer vacation went by way too fast.

Highlights from my 27th Birthday Bash @ Bennigans in Ingyedong. I had a fabulous time celebrating with friends Tracy, Bernard, and Matthew. The four of us talked and laughed for hours. Bernard and Tracy bought me this really yummy chocolate ice cream cake. Thanks to them I had a fantastic birthday afterall.

This past weekend my friend Tracy and I went to Hongdae in Seoul. We did mad shopping and watched Blue Man Group with a bunch of other peeps. It was loads of fun. I  Seoul! I'm going to Boracay, Philippines next month and then probably Shanghai. Yahoo!

Some photos of my 5 year old Kindergarten class in Korea. We celebrated Children's Day at school with a magic show, face painting, crafts, cooking, and much more. I've only been in Korea for a little over 3 months now, but it seems like longer than that. Nine more months to go! Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! I wish time could go by faster. I miss home ...

HAPPY NEW YEAR~!!! So I'm back from Thailand! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! It was probably the best vacation I've ever had....better than Korea/HK/Singapore. I'm grumpy and disappointed to be back in Taiwan! It's freezing here and I have no heater in my apartment. It was so hard to leave Thailand! The weather was perfect....warm and toasty everyday. Spent 2 nights in Bangkok and 4 days in Koh Samui with my girlfriends Sabrina & Santie. We stayed at Aloha Resort in Koh Samui which was unbelievable. The hotel staff upgraded us to an even bigger room free of charge and I met some really pleasant & friendly people.

We pretty much laid on the beach sipping cocktails everyday... from early morning till night. It was heavenly! Sabrina and I splurged on Thai massages and manicure/pedicures on the beach. Thailand is so freakin' cheap....you can get a one hour massage for like $9 US and buy clothes for like $6 US. So the highlights of my trip was elephant trekking, watching the show Siam Niramit in Bangkok, visiting the Grand Palace, and riding a tuk-tuk.

I want to go to Boracay Island in Phillipines next. I heard some really spectacular things about that place. Traveling is so addicting and killing my wallet. Oh well....might as well travel as much as I can while I'm still young.
