Happy Trails...

Well, I know it's been like 4 months since I've posted on here... life gets busy... and myspace is addictive.  So here's whats up since I've last been here.  I had a girlfriend, and we broke up.  She was a great girl, but we both felt that the Lord was leading us in different directions.  And I knew that as much as I wanted to hold on to that relationship, it was holding both of us back from what we both felt we needed in our lives.  So it was a mutual, very clean break-up.  No strings attached.  Which is how a Christian break-up should be.  You focus on the Lord and he'll either bring you closer together or pull you apart and set you that much closer on the track to where he wants you.  So I am very happy in my life at this point.

Which brings me to my next point.  I've made a decision that I'm moving back to Arizona.  I've decided that I have to do what is best for me and my spiritual growth.  So I am going to move back to Yuma where I know I have a nurturing environment that will help me grow in my walk with Christ.  I'm sad to leave all my friends and family here in Chicago, but I know that this is for the best.  So I just have to tell you guys up here how much your friendship and relationships have meant to me and I hope that if you guys ever come to Arizona that you will look me up and keep in touch.

Hello Everybody!

Back by popular demand... the great, the fabulous, the famous T-DUUUUUUUB!  lol.  Sorry.  Anyways I stopped in for a visit and thought I would make a post.  So much craziness going on lately.  I've got 2 really close friends who are going through some hard stuff in their respective lives right now, so I'm going to post an unspoken prayer request for them.  They are both like best friends to me... and so it would be nice to know people out there are praying for them.

"Other stuff" is going good.  I've got a girlfriend now (pictures to come!)!  She is great.  I like her a lot.  We met through my friend and "inter-home neighbor" Rebecca Marsh, thank you, thank you, thank you!  So I like that.  My girlfriend is the best.  We do live 2 states away from eachother, but it works somehow.

Just turned 25 yesterday.  But it's funny, because I don't feel that old.  SO hopefully I'll retain a sense of youthfulness.

So yeah... things are good.

Yay Xanga.  So I'm back for a short visit.  I've got dialup at home, and for some reason Xanga doesn't work too well on my computer.  But I'm housesitting for a friend this week, so I thought I would get on and update.  The internship at New Hope Christian Fellowship is going great.  I'm looking at possibly sticking around beyond the summer and working with the church as a Youth Sponsor.  Which reminds me, I've got a great joke for you guys that an unsaved girl that came to youth a few weeks back got up and told in front of the whole group!

So little Suzy and her friend go up Suzy's mother, and she asked, "Mom, how old are you?"  Her mom said, "You don't need to know, mind your own business!"  Suzy and her friend came up later and she asked, "Mom, how much do you weigh?" Once again, the mother responded irritated, "YOU DONT NEED TO KNOW, MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS."  And a third time, Suzy and her friend came up to her and asked, "Mom, why are you and dad divorced?" And a third time, the mother yelled, "YOU DONT NEED TO KNOW, MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!"  So a little bit later, Suzy and her friend came back to her mom and said, "I know how old you are, you're 35."  The mom responded, "Oh really, how did you find that out?"  Suzy replied, "You don't need to know, mind your own business." Suzy followed by saying, "I know how much you weigh, you weigh 135 lbs." Once again, a little irritated the mother asked, "How did you find that out?" Suzy replied, "You don't need to know, mind your own business."  Once again, little Suzy came back and said, "You know what?"  Her mom replied, "No, what?" Suzy said, I know why you and Dad got divorced, It's right here on your license!"  Her mom replied, "Oh yeah, it says that?" "Yep!" Suzy replied.  "So why did your father and I get divorced?" Suzy responded, "Because you got an 'F' at Sex!"

Corny I know, but I laughed!  lol.  So other than telling stupid jokes, things are going good.  I'm most likely getting a raise at work and a promotion to Manager of my store, so I'm pretty happy about that!

New Job... new life.

Hello my friends, family, and the guy in back picking his nose.  So here's what's up.  I got a new job.  I'm an Assistant Manager at Advance America.  And it looks like I'm going to be managing 2 stores.  I'm extremely excited about this.  I like what I'm going to be doing.  I like working with people, and I like the fact that I'm working a full-time 40 hour job w/benefits.  So that is all for right now.  I'm tired... but Jesus is good.  Btw... if we could keep this on the D & L on just my Xanga, I'd appreciate it.  Because I have co-workers on myspace that I don't exactly want to know that I'm quitting yet.  Thanks guys!

Other than that, things are good... same 'ol, same 'ol.  Good night.

Hello everybody!

So it's been a little while... let me update.  I called Pacsun yesterday and the manager was said, "Oh... yeah, my manager filled the position behind my back.  Sorry."  So.  That is a no-go.  Umm... that's all I got right now.  But yeah... definately sucked... oh well.  Nothing else really going on... going to hang out tonight with TJ and Jill and Jax.  It's incredible that we live maybe 40 minutes apart... but still don't hardly see eachother.  Oh well.
