MURDOCK - Doyle, Dewey M., 71, retired freight driver, died April 13, 2006. Service 10 a.m. Monday, Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Survivors: wife, Judy; sons, Cary of Douglasville, Ga., Dennis of Garden Plain; brother, Kenneth of Lamar, Colo.; sisters, Wilma Sheets of Carthage, Mo., Ida Wilson of Wichita; four grandchildren.
When I finished the sixth grade. My dad asked Dewey if we could use his house address so I could attand Hamilton Junior High School. The kids that I went to elementary school often beat me up. My dad's solution was to sent me to a different school. Dewey and Judy agreed. They were customers and friends of the family. My niece was raised by Dewey and Judy because my sister needed a babysitter. Grandpa Dewey and Grandma Judy was to my niece like Grandpa Kenneth and Grandma Alice was to me. I am glad that the physical suffering from years of kidney problems are over now for Dewey. May he rest in peace.
May we meet again!

| Happy Birthday Alice Frazier and Walter Fulgroat (Froggy)Alice Frazier and Froggy have passed away many years now, but I have many fond memories of them.
When I was a kid, pre-teen, Alice Frazier started to come to my Dad's restaurant to eat with her husband Kenneth. Both Alice and Kenneth became close friends with our family. We eventually started calling them grandma and Granddad. These individuals became very important people in my life and the lives of my family. I remember Alice as a stern, but loving old lady. She taught me many things. She taught me manners, and how to behave. I remember one time I had a very serious wound infection to my right leg. Alice took me to the doctors. When the nurse pulled back my pant leg, the smelliest and most gross looking stuff was there. The nurse nearly puked. The doctor was worried that the infection could turn gangrene and that I could lose my leg. The nurse cleaned my wound and the doctor gave me antibiotics. Alice would take me home and nurse me back to health. She did similar things for me many times. I can't even count the number of times she helped me. My memories of her are precious to me. Grandma Alice imparted many tit bits of wisdom and love. I treasure my memories of her.
Froggy was a frequent customer of my dad’s restaurant. He and another couple, Sheryl and Al would eat at the restaurant every night. Our family became good friends with them too. Froggy would tell his life stories and all the things he did and it would encourage me. I remember one time going to Froggy’s farm to fish in the river that ran on his property. I was wading in the river and having a great time. Then, I looked down and saw this long green tail that belongs to a gar fish. It scared me so bad that I ran and Froggy said it looked like I ran on top of the water. Jesus walked on water, I ran on top of it. Froggy taught me many things too! I miss all of these people. Sheryl is the only one still alive. Alice and Kenneth Frazier, Froggy, and Al have passed away many years now. I miss them. They left a big impact on me. Much of my wisdom came from their teachings and guidance.
In loving memory of very good and wise people,
May we meet again!

| God is Awesome! It was a really great worship. God surely showed up. The technology was against us, but we weathered the difficulties. The prayer section caught a few of us off guard. It was surprising how the message and worship was unplanned, but they fit like a hand in glove. God is awesome. Thanks worship team. Thanks counselors. Have a great camp hope! | | |
| Slowly cooling off
Last night, as I was leaving work, I found that someone had used a key to scratch the hood of my red camero. I'm a little ticked off. Athough it is just a car, the fact that individuals lacks the respect for other people's property is just upsetting. One can't have nice things without someone else ruining it. Sigh........ | | |
