I could've waited a little longer for electricity. Couple smaller trees got knocked down here... that's about it.

Friday, September 12, 2003

Yo. In case anyone doesn't already know... the UH vs SC game is televised Saturday on FoxSportsnet. I used to hold season tickets and I'll probably go to a game if it's within considerable driving distance, but nothing beats watching at Aloha Stadium. So if you live on Oahu and you're not going to the games.... god help you!!! Go Bows!!!! TIMMMMMAAAAAAAAYYYYY!

Saturday, September 06, 2003

Hmmm I'm back. I edited my original message, it was pretty negative sounding.

I'm 25, originally from central O'ahu (Hawaii for the geographically challenged) currently living in Fayettenam, NC. Never married. No kids that I know of errrr... ummm.... yeah. c/o '02 University of Hawaii graduate, went into working for the government outta college because my degree didn't leave me as many options as I'd hoped. My ethnic heritage (that I know of) includes asian, polynesian, caucasian and native american. If you're one of those percentage freaks I'm approximately 50% Caucasian, 25% Okinawan and 25% Hawaiian. If we're talking culturally, then I'm 100% Oahuan, as I've lived there for most of my 25 years. If being of mixed ethnicities intrigues you, I suggest visiting any of the following sites:

part asians/other ethnicity http://www.hapas.com

part black or asian or white http://www.mixedfolks.com

part white/asian http://www.eurasiannation.com

So I know people usually put stuff in these things that they've done every day, but I'm a guy so I don't think I'll be keeping a diary. But... I DO have plenty of random thoughts to keep my mind and whoever else reads this occupied.

For example, did anyone know Osama Bin laden's family and the Bush family have been close associates and business partners from Bush I's term in office, and that Bin Laden's brother fronted millions of dollars to get our current president his first oil company? That Bush senior had the Bin Laden's over for dinner on multiple occasions? And directly after 9/11 when our president allowed only one plane to fly, which carried the Bin Laden family (yes they lived here) out of America "for their own safety" before the FBI and had a chance to interrogate them? Here's a news link to that ---> http://www.old.smh.com.au/news/0111/07/world/world100.html I wouldn't say I was a Bush basher (though that'd be a cool porno name), but the man's got alot of skeletons. And he's not God, which means his actions, actions that affect every citizen in the world, should be questioned. Same way Clinton was hounded for lying about his "sexual relations".

Now that school's finished I've found reading can actually be an enjoyable experience. Funny how points of view can change perceptions so much. Or maybe I'm just getting old. I need a beer.

malama kakou
