Oh..... the craziness has begun.

I pretty much have today to pack. I work tomorrow, and Saturday... Sunday is Church.... and Kaci and I leave Monday! ~ahhhhhhhhh~

I leave Monday for Camp Deer Run. I'll be on staff out there till the 4th of July, Mom will come pick me up, we'll drive the 4 hours back to Little Rock, I'll sleep between loads of laundry, and then leave for Tallinn the next day. ~big eyes~

Please pray for me. The next couple of months are going to be wonderful and crazy. Please also pray that I'll be able to raise the support I'll need.

Armastan ja igatsen. ~hug~ I'll see you pretty soon.

Let's try this again....

This weekend two wonderful things happened.

1st, Kaci graduated. She walked down, in her burgundy gown... (~laughs~ That rhymes!) One of twelve to walk. Chris came from Pari, Stephany and Anna came from Dallas, Mark, Amber, Amanda and our family from here... all of us came to show Kaci how proud we were of her. ~smile~

Afterwards everyone came to our house for a little party. Chris, Zach, Anna and I made Fajitas, and Amber made cheese dip! They must have liked it, it didn't take it very long to disappear. ~grin~ They stayed till around 10.

After that Chris, Jaim, Steph, Anna, Kaci and I played Apples to Apples till almost 1! I haven't laughed that hard in a while. ~smile~

Sunday was good.

Today was Drew's 8th Birthday... I can't believe it. Where did the time go? I remember going to see him in Nõmme. He was so very little... now he's 8 years old, finishing the 2nd grade, and just such a good kid. ~smile~ I'm glad God put him in my family.

I hope that you've had a wonderful day.

Armastan ja igatsen sind.

~hugs~

Wow. Time flies. It's already May. We're a third of the way through the year.

Mom and Kaci are currently in Tallinn and having an absolutely wonderful time... and I know that the girls are loving having them there. I will be glad to have them back on Friday. ~smile~

Two of my cousins stayed with us Saturday night and Sunday, they were on there way back home after school and decided to stop by and see us. It had been a while since I'd seen them, so was really good to see both of them.

In less than a month Kaci and I will be headed out to work at a Christian summer camp... please pray for us as we try to prepare for that. That we'll be able to handle whatever comes our way. ~grin~ So many kids, so little time.

And then, Lord willing, I'll be headed to Tallinn in the beginning of July.

Armastan ja igatsen. ~hugs~

Well... a lot has been going on, and yet not much at all. However that works. ~smile~ This past weekend Jaim drove Kaci and I to a "New Staff Retreat" out at CDR, where she and I will be working for the summer... just half the summer for my part.

It was really good, a time to meet the other people, who like us have never worked out there, and a few who had. Lots of laughing... Consequence Jenga... 42... team building activities... They also tried to tell us things we need to know, things we'll need to work on before camp starts. All in all it was good.

This weekend Jaim, Kaci and I are taking our friend Amber to Dallas. She's never been before, so we thought we'd take her. ~smile~ I know that we'll have a blast.

Lord willing I'll be going to Estonia for the month of July. Please pray that I'll be able to raise the support I'll need. Thank you so much.

The rains came down.... and so did the tornado.

A brand new experience for me, coming from a country that has no real natural disasters, to Arkansas where we are now in the middle of tornado season... yes they have a season for them.

Yesterday evening I was watching the pilot episode of Dr.Quinn with Mom and the little boys, we were about 3/4 of the way through it when we heard the tornado sirens going off.. We didn't really think anything of it, because they test them every Wednesday at noon, but then we realized that something was going on, so we switched the TV to the one channel we get and it told us that we were under Tornado warning... So we watched for a while longer, and they told us that it had touched down about 3 miles from us... so we decided that it would be prudent to go to our storm shelter in the back yard...

We all sat in a circle, Jaim brought her guitar and we sang for a bit. Daddy prayed with us. Mostly we tried to be calm, for the sake of those younger than us. ~smile~ We were in there for about forty-five minutes before we got the clear, so we went back into the house and tried to relax a little.

We hadn't been inside an hour when the sirens went off again, and the TV said that another one was headed our way, Mom took the little boys to the shelter. Dad, Zach and I stayed and watched the news for a little longer. By the time we headed out it was raining buckets with some great lightning, thunder and wind going on... We were only down there for about 20 minutes, then it started to die down. So, back to the house we went. This time for good. We watched the news for a while longer, and then around 1 a.m. I headed to bed to try and get some sleep. For some reason it was hard to wind down after that. ~grin~

Our God is so good. Thank you Father, for watching over us and keeping us safe...

Armastan ja igatsen teid. ~big hugs~
