Getting Married!
Well, I just thought that I'd throw it out there to all who may not know that Brent and I are getting married next summer. He asked me this August when we were at out parents cabins on the Little Shuswap and we both had our entire families there except for Brents brother in law. Its pretty exciting and we've been having a lot of fun (and a little stress) gettting things booked and ready for it. I would say we have most of the big stuff done, and i've actually found a wedding dress that I love and I'm pretty sure that I'm going to buy. I'm so excited to be getting ready to spend the rest of my life with the guy I love!
Other then that, life is going pretty good... I've been really busy with work, school, and practicum and Brents having a really busy month right now too as he's in a bunch of training workshops this month and most of them are falling on his days off so he's going pretty steady for most of October.
And now i'm going to head off..I have the day off so I'm excited to go and do some errands and really nothing much at all! Bye!

Well I just thought I'd write a quick hi to everyone out on Xanga, although as Esther pointed out a while ago we've all seemed to have forgotten about it. I'm just loving it still because its great to see how everyone is doing! Thigns are going pretty good here...nothing too new and exciting but work. Me and Brent are heading down to the cabin for a few days for Canada day long weekend so that should be fun too! We're gonna be there in August, so if anyone has the desire to come out and visit the shuswap for a while during that time it'd be a lot of fun! I miss ya all! See ya, Karen

An update on Christine...a little more accurateChristine Gauthier (post) had a baby girl (Graceyhon sp?) on Sunday afternoon. She was only 6 months pregnant. She had pre-eclampsia, which is a condition where the baby, the bigger she grows, poisons the mother. Christine has been in the hospital for about 4 days before getting her C-section, when they came to the decision, that her life was in danger, so they took the baby. The baby was born at 1.5 pounds. Christine is, as of this afternoon, not in critical condition anymore. We've been praying for her and the baby, and hope you will too. The poisons were attacking her organs. The baby continues to be in Children's Hospital, and will be for awhile, of course.

Prayer Request
I'm pretty sure that a lot of you know Christine (Post) Gautier. Right now she is in the hospital and although I don't know a lot of details, I do know that their family needs some prayer. She was pregnant and was having some troubles with blood pressure and it was affecting her alot, so they had to take the baby out early. I just talked to my dad a couple days ago and he said the baby was born at 1 1/2 pounds (he compared it to a brick and a half of butter!) and Christine was in critical condition. I'm not sure of any details or specifics at all and I haven't had any recent updates in the last two days, but please pray for Christine, Justin, their child and their families! Thanks alot guys!

End in sight...
So I'm almost done! Friday I have an exam and then i'm officially done my first year of school. I'm definitly excited about that, as I'm sure everyone else is who is in school. Still not completly sure as to what I'm going to be doing this summer, but I'm praying that something is going to come up that will work out and make me enough money. But I should get back to studying...just thought I'd write a little note since it's been a while! See ya
