I'll miss you guys!!!

4 days and i still haven't packed...
don't worry.. i'll gather some FOBS down there for you guys. I know how
much you loooove them fobs. ;)

LOL.

Wow, Christmas is in a week and I haven't done any of my christmas shopping yet!! How lame hey? Although I did go to bellingham last weekend and tried to shop, but ended up shopping for myself.. L0L I'm bad! But promise this weekend, I'll shop for mi familia.. I figured I'll just give everyone gift certificates this year cause I hate crowded malls and trying to find something for whoever... and it takes a million years to decide what to buy. I'd like to just walk in a mall, know where I'm going to buy peoples presents and walk out! Simple. But nooo it doesn't go that way cause people are picky! On that note I still need to buy my necessities that I need for philly! I have them listed down all I need to do is get myself to go to a near store to buy those necessities.. like toiletries and such. But I've been working like every damn day starting early and ending late and everytime I try to get myself to go to the store, I end up going home.. eat, sleep, cycle repeats. I did manage to clean out my closet though and found a whole bunch of clothes I've never worn that I'm going to give away. Sad but true. But it's so nice to look at my closet now.. I keep opening and closing my closet doors cause It's so clean in there. Haha.. I'm a loser!

Anyway, yeah.. so tomorrow i'm on call. I hate being on call. I'd rather know the time I'm starting and where I'm working thank you very much. And  being on call, I get called between 6-8AM. And I hate it when someone interrupts me in my sleep! So I'm not picking up my phone tomorrow so I don't have to work. LoL. Payday is this friday though... wooooo! Gonna go to the states again this friday.. get my shopping done finally!

I still have to register for class in feb.. ugh. another mulah down the drain but you gotta do what you gotta do! And.. go to the bank.. to take care of some crapos and such.  I'll do that all this week! I hope! Well i need to.. or else.. no philly money for moi and that would make me sad!

So far I love work... the people I work with are nice and some patients I get are so funny. Last week I had my training for accessioning and i hate accessioning with a passion. I hate pouring urines, handling body fluids and shiet.. such a piss off. and they stannnk so i learned how to breathe differently from that.. hahah. I'd seriously rather do veni's and ecg's the whole day and desk when I get trained on that. Today I had a 9 year old patient and he said he was happy that I was his nurse cause I'm gentle. aww how sweet. He's never had blood work done before so I told him step by step what I was doing so he'd get an idea.. then I gave him an apple juice cause I figured he was too old to get a sticker. LoL.. But comments like that makes me feel good.. even old people say some nice things and it's good knowing that I'm doing my job right for them... ya know what I mean jelly bean?

This weekend was hella fun! My sister's wedding was on Saturday, and ofcourse had relatives over
from all over the place. It was awesome. I miss my cousins already!! Took pictures at whiterock beach, with the  -12 degree weather but couldn't complain or else my sister would go bridezilla on us. But really.. it was hella cold I couldn't feel my toes! Damn snow. But reality strikes.. and time to go back to work. Can't wait for the Philly... in a couple weeks!! time to get faaat! seriously, i need to get some fat up in hurr. L0L.

My first day of working in the actual PSC, and i got a flippin' patient who fainted on me. My first patient who fainted! How fabulous is that?? ughhh.. Horrible. She was being dumb and ditzy. i asked her if she's had blood work done before, and she said yeah and it went well. Right when i get the needle inside her she mentions about her fainting in a plane before. I was like.. OH!  and right when i was going to change the tube, she moved her freeking arm which knocked the needle out of place and her blood gushed out. I applied the cotton right away and i guess she saw the blood and fainted. I had to stand in front of her for 15 freeking minutes until she recovered. And top that off, I had no idea when to bring her to the sick room to lie down cause i couldn't tell
what the difference was with her being pale or not... (she was white) So good thing my trainer was nice about it and she handled it and let me go on my break... thank gawd.. And then i had to write it as an incident report and forward it to my team leader. Other than that.. everything else went well i guess? I just hate reading the protocols and other shiznats! so boringggg. GEEZ wish me luck tomorrow!  

oh.. it's 1:15am right now so on that note...Happy Birthday Patricia!! Finally the big 20!!
