| 211-213sooooo I know I said I was going to try and write everyday but I've been getting sidetracked, and I am now looking at this old ass commercial for a game called splash out, but anyways I digress. So I've been up since 4pm yesterday. I dunno why I couldn't sleep. I swear my sleeping is jacked up some days but I can't help it. I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do this weekend because technically I'll be DRIVING back to Tennessee next weekend!! SOOOOO EXCITED. But anyhoo I seemed to have lost 11 + pounds since the last time we've chatted, and I think it is funny since all I have been doing forreal is sleeping, and drinking heaps of water that hasn't really done much for my cramps I had this last "time of the month" Akeem refers to it as a visit from Aunt Flow....that hasn't been called that since middle school....but anyhoo speaking of Akeem. I've never been more connected to a person than I have with him. I think this is the one forreal. No games, no ifs ands or buts, we've been thought each other were cute but never approached each other for anything else because of the long distance thing, but I finally let that go. It was me getting hurt twice in order for me to say hey it can't be that bad, so we have been going strong since the beginning of May and I'm going to see him to make it official in June. I can't wait, its about 26 more days til I see him, and about 2 weeks until school starts again. I'm not exactly excited but I'd rather be doing something with my life besides waiting for band camp to start since I DID NOTHING last summer. I'm just feeling really good right now. I'm in love with life. Oh and my mom bought me a new car. A Chevy Impala 2000 Emerald Green. I call her Keisha. Other than that I am just trying to get in shape for band camp. trying not to feel old as hell with these 18 year olds come up in here lol...but anyhoo. I think I might take India to school this morning, I'll holla. | | |
| New Era - The Golden Phase (224)So as I sit here, I am committing myself to a new healthier lifestyle. I know the road to my weight loss goal of 50 pounds is gonna be hard. But with prayer, guidance, strength, and great friends, I know I'll reach it by next year this time. I plan on exercising 6 days a week, resting on sundays. Even during marching band season!! I am going to start eating better, healthier, changing slowly but surely. I'm gonna make it my priority to eat healthy wherever I go. God just grant me patience because I am doing it, I am going to do it for me this time. I know some of yal are asking, where the hell is 50 pounds going to come from, but I do carry around some extra cushion and I want to let some of it go. I'm doing it for me, and my health in the future, even though my doctors have been constantly telling me I am ok. I don't have high blood pressure or cholesterol, or diabetes, and I want to keep it that way.
Ok so my sophomore year is over, what can I say. I lit the campus up, as only Chantae' De'Ann Pittman can do. I won't stop there. As a member of Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity Incorporated, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, I plan on using my influence, and power to better the goings on at Tennessee State. I have some big ideas, and I'm hoping I'll have some big backing from friends and fellow organizations, and its members.
Love life....well...umm been single for almost a year... and there have been prospects floating in and out of my radar. Some I went about the wrong way to vie for their attention, and the end result was not as expected, but there is a new star in my eye, and we shall see about my 3/4 we shall see...

| StationaryI love and hate where I stay now. I feel like I am so far away from everyone, and I want to be able to see all of my friends from high school that are back in town. However, I now live in Henry County and it takes about 20-30 minutes to get to where I used to stay. Sigh.....and problem 2....no car.... and mom took me off the insurance, so I am immobile until something changes...if anyone needs me I'm at home of course.
