1. What was the hardest subject in high school for you? Good question, you'd think I'd say math since I'm a year behind, but I struggle with History.
2. Have you ever tried sushi and do you like it? Yeah and I ended up feeding it to some homeless kittens when I didn't like it. They were so sweet!
3. Did you ever have acne?  Not "acne," but I do get some pimples.

5. Did you ever get a makeover? Sorta kinda, just a major haircut that shocked people.

07. Said "I hope you die" to someone: Yes! But it was more drastic...like "I could kill them!" It's okay though, I did my penance.
08. Tried to kill yourself: Naw, it's too fun to be alive!
09. Gotten in a fist fight: Yep, with Jason Woods for getting up in my face...I ended up  being slammed into a sink. (And it was more like a kicking fight.)

06. Come on, tell the truth. Is that really your true hair color? Yes, and it's a really ugly Ash Blonde...I think that's changing soon.
07. What do you most like about your body?  My size, I'm tall enough but small enough.

Plus, it's a struggle to deal with people who are closed minded about high school relationships. People seem to kind of...reject you and your serious boyfriend.

30. If you unexpectedly got pregnant, what would you do? Think "that's not how the sex ed books said it would happen...that's a maricle!" I'm a virgin and I plan to be until marriage.

THE PAST
01. Any good memories from this year? Yes, this year has been the best in my high school career. The irony is, it's the year I've hated school the most.
02. Any bad memories from this year? Sorta. Whenever friends grow apart, it's going to be rough.
03. Do you regret anything from this year? Nope.

05. Who was your first boyfriend/girlfriend? Nathan Jones in Kindergarten.

07. What is your best childhood memory? Playing Lion King on the playgrounds of JLM at recess!

09. What color hair did you have as a kid? Light blonde, now it's ash blonde! (Not brown, people.)
10. What does your name mean? Kateri, from the first Native American woman to earn the title "Blessed" from the Catholic church, has no true meaning, but the woman I'm named after gained the title "Lily of the Mohawks."

Howdy You All!

What's shimmying? (sp? oh WELL)

Not a lot is shimmying over here...except

JONATHAN'S FREAKIN BOOK IS GETTING ATTENTION!

Yayness! Ok, so it may be SMALL scale but hey, he's the talk of the CHS English department...so YAY!  Anywho, anyone who has seen the outline of his book or read the first few unedited chapters has only had positive things to say...and surprisingly, many are asking for him to sign something so "when [Jonathan's] a best selling author, [the person] can sell it on ebay for a million dollars!" They even make sure he keeps them updated. (And JUST because you see this, don't start being mean and negative saying "I already hate it." I may be wrong, but there are some rude people out there with closed minds...and I really don't need negativity unless it's productive.)

Anywho, How kick butt is that?

He and I have been working on this book since...wow, the beginning of the school year. (Time flies fast.) It feels good to even get this gratification for our efforts. (I'm the creative director/editor/secretary as well as his best friend and girlfriend...this project is just a little less mine then it is his.)

But this is only step one...next, we must find a literary agent. That, my friends, is a task. No, not a task...more like a quest.

Another great thing is that I made the 15th rank out of everyone in Commercial Photography this semester!

I know that may not seem great, but out of nearly 70 people and not expecting it, it's really exciting! If I maintain my position (of at least above the 20th ranked person) then I can take Advanced Photography next year and even Photo Journalism! I hope I do stay up there because I've never been so excited about school in YEARS!

Okay, okay...so in celebration of both good things, let's combine the two! Here are some pictures of me and my best friend, boyfriend, & favorite author, Jonathan Andras Engi, taking a break from a long day of working on the book!
