Welcome to my new blog.

  One of my main passions is LifeLong Learning. Learning new things keeps your mind sharp and alert.  And as you get older like me, you need all the help you can get! 

  It doesn't matter what you learn, even if it's just the Joke Of The Day. Anything at all will do. There are soooo many places on the web to learn- and for free! I will be adding some of my favorites and also new ones as I come across them. Check them out and let me know what you think. Feel free to list your own favorites as well.  

  Since I'm a visual and Kinetic learner,  I learn best where I can interact and follow the instructor as he/she demonstrates. I learn best by actually doing it myself and having the instructor there to help when I need it is priceless. I have become  the #1 supporter of web Conferencing, esp. the ones where the instructor can show you how to do something on their computer and you can follow right along in real time.

  Plus, I can get bored very easily. I need the interaction and "hands On" techniques to keep my attention focused or I soon find my mind wandering and lose interest.

  One site that I learned a lot on so many topics, blogging, marketing, HTML, CSS, PHP and so much more is The Internet Income Lab . I have learned more there in the last 2 years than all the time I spent at the local community college. I think it was because I was being taught from books at the college and not getting to actually try it out for myself. They have some wonderful mentors, resources, and forum at the Income Lab.
