okay random story....

so today in my theatre class my professor was talking about people who sacrifice a lot to make it through school.  And he started telling the story of how his wife sacrificed teaching public school to put him through graduate school for six years.  After that he said that his wife had made so many sacrifices for him and as he teared-up he said "It's a true love story."  OH MY GOSH! 

      all I could think is I want my husband one day to stand-up in front of a group of people and tear-up at the thought of the love he has for me and I have for him....girls you know what I'm talking about...

The Lord is HOLY...

      So I have found myself lately telling God how things should be.  I'm like I don't think you understand but you did this for this reason and this for this reason and now that is not how its going...can anyone relate?..

      Well this past Sunday at the David Crowder concert we sang a song that repeated something to the effect of "You are holy"   God took those words and pierced my heart with them.  He spoke to me and said "Katie, I am holy, everything about me is perfect.  There is nothing going on in this universe that I did not put into motion and is not part of my perfect plan."  I mean talk about being humbled. 

      When we come to the realization that our circumstance, no matter how bad it looks to us, is part of God's PERFECT and HOLY plan, it is freeing and gives quite the perspective.  To realize who I am and my finite knowledge, and then to realize God and his infinite knowledge and holiness makes me want to fall on my face before him.  It's so freeing to know that because of his holiness everything is perfect and there is no mistake and no situation I can mess-up, to have a mess-up in God's plan caused by me would not only contradict his holiness but also put me above God...neither thing I want.

       I invite you, if you are going through a rough circumstance or time to find freedom and peace in the fact that the Lord is holy, you are not and you can fall on your face and worship him for that reason alone...

Everyone longs to give himself or herself completely to someone; to have a deep relationship with another; to be loved thoroughly and exclusively.  But God says no; not until you're satisfied and fulfilled and content with living, loved by me alone, and giving yourself totally and unreservedly to Me - to have an intensely personal and unique relationship with me alone. I love you my child and until you discover that only in Me, is your satisfaction to be found, you will never be capable of the perfect human relationship that I have planned for you.  You will never be united with Me - exclusive of anything or anyone else, exclusive of any other desires or longings.  I want you to stop planning, stop wishing, and allow me to give you the most thrilling plan existing - one that you cannot imagine.  I want you to have the best.  Please allow me to bring it to you.  You just keep watching Me, expecting the greatest things.  Keep the satisfaction - knowing that I AM.  Keep learning and listening to things I tell you.  You must wait.

Don’t be anxious and don’t worry. Don’t look around at the things you think you want.  Just keep looking off and away up to Me, or you’ll miss what I have to show you.  And then when you are ready, Ill surprise you with a love far more wonderful that any you would ever dream.  Until your ready you wont be able to experience the love that exemplifies your relationship with Me....and this is perfect love.

And dear one I want you to have this most wonderful love.  I want you to see, in the flesh, a picture of your relationship with Me; to enjoy materially and concretely, the everlasting union of beauty and perfection and love that I offer you with myself.  Know that I love you.  I am GOD almighty. Believe and be satisfied!
