| Greetings after a very LONG and unexpected umm sabbatical like break from xanga.
I am currently exploring new and potentially better ways to communicate with all of you without overextending myself with several blogs and emails soooooo
At this point I will be updating only http://freelybreathing.blogspot.com
I will be updating it now on a monthly basis, however, that will change later this summer to a weekly update.
Much love ~katie

| A friend of mine from college has created a great video in response to something called the "Blasphemy Challenge." Click here to view the video
Visit Pass the Aura's xanga for an explanation. It will be well worth it. :)
| Brrrr.... it's cold!! I'm getting used to the Kansas City ICE again!!!
Just when it gets cold here, I head somewhere colder!!!! :) This weekend is an exciting weekend for me and all of us on Team France. We will meet together in St. Paul, MN. During this retreat we will be elaborating on each of our unique gifts and talents and how they fit into the church planting strategy. As we hear the full report on the recent survey trip to Paris, we will prayerfully make decisions regarding the potential location of ministry within the city. We will also spend time encouraging and praying for each other as we continue making preparations for deployment to France. There is a lot to cover in a short weekend so we need your prayer.
Would you pray for us this weekend?
Pray for safe travel for the entire team - especially as this will be a bitterly cold weekend in MN. We will be traveling on Friday Dec. 1 and Sunday evening the 3rd.
Pray for clear presentations of the many projects to be discussed.
Ask God to give each of us wisdom, clarity, and discernment as we propose ideas and make decisions.
Most of all, ask God to unite all seven of us in spirit and keep us focused on Him for His glory. Our goal is to be sensitive to His Spirit and obedient to Him as we trust Him to lead us in these preparations.
I'm looking forward to reporting to you how God answers our prayers this weekend.
| I just talked this morning to my teammates in Paris. They found a language school that four us of on the team might be enrolled in. It's a Christian French language school 45 minutes south from the core of Paris in Massy France.
Also, they were able to meet now with several contacts each where enthusiastic in the Short-Cycle Church Planting philosophy. I guess they, like many French, are burnt out and frustrated with many Amercians heading over to France and immediately trying to do ministry the "American Way" without involving French nationals in the beginning. Ususally doesn't work and American missionaries give up thinking "it's just not possible to start a church in Paris." So it's a real answer to prayer that these French national contacts are enthusiastic to plant churches as our Team guides them.
So obviously, after talking with them through Skype just minutes ago, I am incredibly excited for what's ahead. God really is putting everything in place.
So, now, keep praying for my teammates as they continue to pray through and discern the location for our ministry. They fly out on Wednesday to return home.
