Apollo checking out another step in the renovation process..
I tore the wall off down to the studs. The shower leaks so I am repairing that, too.
I took out the sink and vanity. It had leaked water all down the sides ever since we moved in.The shutoff valves didn't really shut off! That is why we keep buckets there. A plumber is coming tomorrow to replace the valves. Then I can put the new sink, faucet and vanity in :)
Hard to tell but the vinyl on the left is the old floor. The vinyl on the right is the new floor. It just lays on top of the old floor and you attach them by putting the sticky side strips over one another.

Wonderful sunny summer days here in the northland finally! It is often brilliant blue skies from horizon to horizon. It is also windy. I love the sound of the wind blowing through the trees. My husband and I go for an hour bike ride after dinner. There is a wonderful bike trail that follows the Red River and passes by many parks. It is very peaceful. The only down side is the wind pushing against me on our way home. My leg muscles were burning when I got home! I admit, I am out of shape.
