it's april 4. four more days till easter. and it's snowing... what?!?! i'm so angry. i went home this weekend and took all my winter clothes except for what i am wearing right now. ugh. come back spring. what am i going to wear on easter if it's snowing?!?

i just finished my country paper for my economic development class. kinda want to jump up and down screaming but i have no energy. i think i can save it for our 18 hour drive tomorrow to naples, florida. yeah that's right, http://www.greenlinksnaples.com/. go ahead, look. so you can be insanely jealous that i'm spending the next week with four of my good girlfriends and about twelve guys on the beach, mainly relaxing and not doing school work. fun will be had. this week has been rough but the Lord got me through it and what a sweet reward waiting at the end. so pray for us if you think of it for a safe drive tomorrow. ETD 6pm. ETA 2pm.

i find out about the internship at the Indiana State department of agriculture tomorrow too. i really want it, but God's got something better if i don't get it. well it's sleep time. peace. seriously

funny story. there is a new irish pub done on the wabash landing near my apartment called O'Bryan's Nine Irish Brothers and i've wanted to go there like since it opened. i finally went on tuesday night with brooke, nate, and stacey! it was awesome! so worth the wait. i had a guiness and brooke had this coffee irish creme drink that was stellar. while we were there one of my prof's came in, haha. randy roberts taught my history of world war 2 class last fall and is the one of the best profs i have had a purdue. stacey however didn't pass the class and the university hadn't offered it since we took it and she needs to retake it. needless to say we had a 15 minutes conversation with mr. roberts. he even told the owner of o'bryans that he should hire me. it was hilarious and entertaining. he's on the history channel all the time so i think of him as kind of a celebrity. i love random things like that. go to o'bryan's it's a blast.

well liz is insisting that i update so here it goes.

crusade fall retreat was the first weekend in november! totally awesome fun time. i drove over to hartford city indiana with 4 of my hilltop girls and we had a blast. belle is from australia and had never seen a trailer or trailer park before. she flipped out and got excited, lots of laughs were had.

here's our awesome (attractive) discussion group from retreat. we dominated in dgroup olympics. what can i say i'm competitive!

then jenn came for a weekend and tons of random fun was had. including ice skating without ice.

it was quite windy.

then brooke and i drove to muncie last saturday to see jenn and go to the jon mclaughlin concert

on sunday kristine was here from chicago and we got to hangout for a few hours. man i miss this girl! best roommate on the face of the planet.

football season is over. sad. but we got the oaken bucket again. iu sucks.

i'll miss tailgating though and dominating with tony as corn hole.

so yeah. God has blessed me with amazing friendships and fellowship. this semester has gone by soo fast. only 3 semesters left, about 42 credits and i'm done. wowza. thanksgiving was great to spend time with the fam, and we got a new kitten too. her name is lunchbox and she's the reason i got no studying done over break. i took two finals last week so i only have two next week. don't tell my parents yet but i think i'm bringing home all A's!! holler.
we're signing for our apartment for next year today. crazy. i'm gonna be a senior.
christmas is coming and i can't wait. there are lights all over campus, going to the christmas show this weekend to see lori, bri, lauren, grant and levi that should get me more in the christmas spirit, and going ice skating (for real) with my bible study tomorrow. well back to class. feliz navidad.

this week is almost over. praise the Lord! i turned in my history paper worth 30% of my total grade, and dominated my sales presentation last night. thanksgiving is going to be amazing. wish the rain would go away. maybe even become snow? but i can wait for that.

wow, it's been 1213 days since i joined xanga. man. so 1213/365 = 3.32 years. so old yet so young. i've come so far yet it's only the beginning.

life. life is ____. it's funny when i see people on campus and they ask me how i am. i try to fake it and lie but i've gotten so bad at lying. it takes too much effort. effort i don't have. i try to find the effort just so i won't have to explain or get that sad look people give you when you tell them that well you aren't doing ok, but it's just not there. i'm _____. i know the Lord is right next to me, walking with me in this valley, but that's all i know. He is all that is certain. the extent of my knowledge stops with Him. discernment is playing hide & go seek with me, and i'm really bad at that game. there are too many places for it to hide. lauren shed some light by reminding me that i can't keep pouring out without being filled myself. Lord fill me.
