| This is My Life... NowSo there have been some changes recently. I am now single again. I don't like it but I can't force anyone to want to be with me. Except my kids. I have to move. Luckily, I have found a place. It is the area I want to be and not too expensive. Move in will be end of July / August. Kids are doing wonderful. My parents have them for a week and then I will be joining them next Friday for a week. Any in the area I am sure have heard about the summer party and I look forward to seeing you there! Most other things are the same. And boring. Maybe I will start posting more regularly but maybe not. Good day to all. | | |
| It Is TimeIt has been brought to my attention that I don't post often enough. Well, get over it! Ha ha ha! No really. I'm serious. Let's see... Halloween... Dylan was a pirate (my idea - he wanted superman I think - some superhero - and I suggested pirate and it just took off) and Ashley was Dorothy from Wizard of Oz (planned since she got home from trick or treating last year). We went trick or treating in our little neighborhood here - covered about 7% of it. The kids were tired after walking for an hour so we came home. I guess I should consider myself lucky for that. Our Thanksgiving plans are not set in stone yet. The kids are off the day before and day after. I have only a few days left to take off work. We will probably stay here. If we do I think we will end up at Bill's mother's and cook there. If I get an urge, we may drive to NY. I just don't know. The kids are doing fine in school. They love it which is good. I am doing the best I can with my friend but outside forces hinder us sometimes. We are trying. Anyway, this should give all of you something to digest. Have a wonderful day! | | |
| One YearI am a one year member of xanga now. I have achieved gold member status. Not really, but who would want that anyway? I have booked up another busy month for October. Last weekend was the lake, this weekend is the beach, and next weekend is King's Dominion - a theme park in Richmond, VA. I almost had a mountain trip for the last weekend of the month but due to uncontrollable circumstance, I cannot attend. (that would be outside influence of one who possibly could make my life unpleasant) Hope everyone is joyful as it is truly a better way to live. Be good.

| Yeah, yeah - Sure, sureOk. Here we go. I did get to spend a week in NY from July 7 thru 14. It was a wonderful visit. Then, due to another situation I am close to, it was decided to leave the kids in NY for an additional 2 weeks while I went to Nashville for training. So now I have been home for a week and still not settled all the way back in. It is tax-free weekend and for some reason it always comes the week I don't get paid. So I scrounged around until I found a little to spend and I will replace it when I get reimbursed for the training I had. Dylan and Ashley are doing well. Dylan completed his first week of school just fine and Ashley went on Tues. She is so excited - her full time schedule starts on Monday. It will be nice to them dropped off and picked up at the same location. My mother-in-law found a deal on some tickets to see the Allman Brothers next weekend so that is where I will be. Christie said she would go with me and I have 2 other tickets to use. It will be a great time. Joanna doesn't know yet, but the following weekend, Aug 17 - 19, I want to try to go visit her. The weekend after that, my friend Scott will be in the area. I do say, it never stops around here. Well, this is long enough. Pleasant evening to all. | | |
| Changing TidesAnd my world is yet again disturbed. Dylan and Ashley have been reassigned to track 4. The upside - they now have July off so we can come to NY as origianally planned!!! We are all very excited. On another note, I have met a nice woman with a son a month older than Dylan and a girl a year younger than Ashley. The kids get along fabulously as well as us adults. Work is the same and the kids are great and completely oblivious to all the changes being made and the hassle their daddy is going through. Oh to be young. Sigh.... | | |
