| R.I.P Shelby.Yeah, so our family dog of 18 years passed away today. She was hit by a car. My mom called Chris here at home then Chris called me at work and told me. I was floored. So on my break I called my house and talked to my mom and she said no one came to the house and told them they hit our dog. The reason why she was found was because my mom found her while going to put mail out in the mailbox and Shelby happen to be laying next to the mailbox. She was hit pretty bad.. her intestines were outside of her. There was no skid marks so whoever hit her didn't even slow down. What my parents thinked happened is that she was hit. then she hit the mailbox, flew over it. I miss her so much... I've cried so much I have no more tears. I haven't been able to eat. I'm dreading going to my parents for christmas. It is going to be so lonely. | | |
| yeah i know it has been awhile since i have updated its been crazy all around with everything going on. anywho.. first, our computer died. well atleast the power cord from when i was living with my parents and their dog bella ate through it.. i was using ducktape to hold it together (ugh, im such a yooper) but that didnt hold it forever thankfully we have one coming to us so hopefully by the beginning of next week we will be up and running with my laptop. so for right now im at the library checking my email updating the same ole' stuff.. well chris hurt is back so he had to quit ericksons so right now im the only one working at the store. it sucks but what can u do.. when life throws u lemons make lemonade right??? idk. my car sucks. no new news on that. it just sucks. savannah is growing like a weed. her personality is really starting to take shape which is cool to see the different changes in her. she is now walking along our couch. scary. and putting anything and everything she can find in her mouth. that is the most scary part. haha. anywho i dont think there is much more to update on.. well im going to my sisters basketball game tonight. wha who. and Michigan is 8-0!! GO WOLVERINES!! and good luck to the tigers. i was talking to chris the other day and i was like "ya know i never thought i would still be alive to see the tigers go into the world series" hmm interesting. but i gotta run savannah is with a babysitter right now so chris and i could run down here and i dont want to keep her busy for long. so leave a comment. whooo! oh by the way you Ohio State Buckeye fans are going DOWN on November 18th!!! muahhhhhahahaha! | | |
| who hoo! new update!well i sa y it is about time that i update... nothing to exciting has been going on. so im going to use the easy way of updating then i will add pictures-we have had savannahs pictures taken at wal-mart and they should be coming in soon. -im going back to Larry's because Savannah didn't get approved for childcare. I was bummed I'm not going to lie, but things happen for a reason. Plus, since minimum wage just went up in Michigan I'll be making 6.95/hr. -My parents are selling us my sisters car. Which is totally awesome!! Can't wait.. just have to wait until Kaitlyn finds another one. -Michigan is 6-0!!! WHOO!! Go Michigan! :) I think that is it for updating nothing else i think. But I'll leave pics! | | |
| I GOT A NEW JOB!!Yes, I got another new job. I am going to be an Americorps worker at the Headstart in L'Anse. I will be in the toddler/infant room, and what is good about that is this is a government run program so they will pay for childcare and savannah will be in the same room I am working in. Plus, with this job I get health insurance for myself. (chris nor savannah will be able to get it but they will still have medicaid) I will be making more money than I am making now at Larry's Market. Plus, since this is a government run program FIA cannot touch any of that money so, we will still be getting the same benefits from them.. which is VERY NICE. plus, at the end of the year I will get $4,725 dollars to use towards school. But I plan on using that for my student loan that I have out right now. I also get the holidays off and 10 days vacation time plus 10 sick days.
So, yeah, I am very excited about that. But on a more sad note.. our rent went up yet again. I knew it was going to go up when I got the job I didnt think that it would go up this much. It went up 4X's the amount it was. So now we have to budget that, plus it just went up again for the month of September. we have been looking around for better appartments but nothing has caught our eye. So we are here for now.
The weather up here has been HOT! Ugh, thankfully our neighbors have an AC so they have let us chill over there when it has been so hot. We are looking in the classifieds in the paper for one. So far, no such luck.
But that is it for now i have to go get around for work and what not. So, until next time.
