| YAY for my xanga being restored!! i have no idea why it was suddenly removed from exitence, but I'm sure glad that it's back! haha. well now I have 2 xangas.. but whatevs!
Currently in New Haven visitn Neha! Went to this cute lil restaurant bar thing last night with some awesome karaoke singers!!! ^_^ WAYYY fun. The drinks were good too!!! I've been in NYC for the last few days, and we had a blast!
FINALS SUCKED. i'm really scared that i did horribly, but we'll see how it goes. I'm really excited for next quarter, but this spring break has been nonstop EXCITEMENT.
Friday: took the final from hell #2, then went back to the apartment, on 45 minutes of sleep, and cleaned the ENTIRE THING. bathrooms, carpets, tables, kitchen, dishes, and recyclables. Tricia and I are AMAZING. i shoulda taken a pic. THEN went home around 140, got back around 315, picked up the kids, picked up the chinese food, dropped me off at home, where i did laundry, fell asleep on the couch for an hour, and then had dinner picked up with the fam. THEN hung out with Debbie for a while, played some music, updated the ipod, finished the laundry, and started packing around 12. THEN finished at 140 ish... called much.. fell asleep.
Sat: woke up at 5, drove to LB, and hopped on the plane. Flew in and got to Jen's. Hung out and watched Korean Soaps til Rie, kt, and Mel got back from MOMA. THEN dinner at this cute italian place... SO good. The wine was good too. THEN off to this lounge called pegou or something like that.. then to drop rie and jen off at this club, and mel and I went back and fell asleep to Pride and Prejudice. I had a HUGE headache, otherwise I would have been super talkative and would have gone out. Rie got married to a limo driver, mel made friends with the happy bouncer that looked like vin diesel as well as the malay cab driver guy. Rie found a guy to buy her a drink, even tho he was dissin LA and stuff. FUN DAY!!
Sunday: Brunch at Normas, which was DELICIOUS and HUGE. Veggin at out the apartment for a while, then SHOPPING at Columbus circle... and Whole foods. THEN we ordered in Pizza and watched Pride and prejudice and some Korean Soaps. mel left :( before dinner. THE SOAP OPERA had a disc that didn't work, so we were sad... but we got to see the end, and it was the WORST ending in the WHOLE world. haha. and this would be the reason that i don't watch them. They make me feel to asian too haha. but it was fun!
monday: Went to the Guggenheim with Susan, Anh, and Kristina, and then walked through Central Park. jen got sick, so I stopped by the apartment to pick up rie, who had had lunch with Esther, and we hung out for a while, and then left for SHOPPING. Shoppin with Rie and Kt in SOHO. I bought PINK lacoste shoes, and SILVER heels and 2 pairs of flip flops. i also got a sweater, a bag, some earrings and neckalces, and a fun top. I'm going to be broke! SAW the same MISSHA place that's in the korean soap (way funny) We grabbed japanese food near kt's place after we walked around and saw her place with the HUGE stairs that has no elevator... KT is SO BRAVE. THEN went to the Empire state building, which was closed... and then walked around to see NYC at night./.. so we got to see the public library that was having a rockin party in it and grand central, which is GORGEOUS. Then back to the apartment for more hangin! OOOO and we watched ANASTASIA! all in "my" bed. haha. four girls in the bed watchin anastasia with strawberries, rice cakes, and other snacks... it doesn't get much better than that!
Tues: walked down 5th Avenue with kt and rie. Saw the takashimaya, and all the other AWESOME stores that were over there. Went into lacoste (of course) and then had lunch at this adorable cafe esque place. really good food, and iced tea. Then took rie back to the apartment to get her stuff and saw her off. Went to the CLoisters, which were AWESOME and then came back to have indian food for dinner with JEN and we watched Someone like you, and some tv. FUN times. Packed for New Haven.
weds: went to lunch with jen, then off to the met, where I saw SUSAN ANH and KRISTINA!! SO random, but that was super fun! I GOT SO LOST THERE THAT I DIDN'T GET TO BUY ANYTHING FROM THE STORE. i gotta go back. haha. THEN hung out with jen for a bit while I packed, and then hopped a train to New Haven. GOT to Neha's, met the roomies, watched the end of top model, went to get some "educated" burgers, and then out to the sidebar restaurant: karaoke/bar place for some good drinks. They had cute decorations ie: martini glasses with daisies in them. FUN TIMES.
Thurs: it was hard to wake up this morning... but we finally got up, and then I got myself kicked out of lab cuz i couldn't answer the questions about research and stuff by this really b*tchy girl. Now, I'm hangin out in the med school library waitin for ha to be done! Then we can shop and eat!!! ^_^
Tonight we're going fun places for dinner and margaritas, then tomorrow morning i'm going to hop a train back to NYC. once in NYC i'm going to stop at the MET to buy the stuff that I wanted to buy, and then i'm going to go to Jen's. THEN it's the ferry around Ellis Island so i can see the statue of Liberty, and then the empire state building for sunset!!! Then dinner, and a play!
Sat: my BFF TOKYO is coming to VISIT ME!! I'm SUPER EXCITED. I have no idea what wer'e going to do but I haven't seen him since I was in Boston in September! I MISS HIM! But we're going to have a rockin time. then,.. either dinner with him, or dinner with Jen and her cousin! THEN goofin around and packin so that I can be up early
Sun: Flight at 9, which means that I have to leave by 7 :( sadness. no more NY. I LOVE NEW YORK. I don't want to leave. I'm going to buy me one of those super sappy shirts because I really do heart NY. :) |
