More Big Girl Knits: 25 Designs Full of Color and Texture for Curvy Women

Ta-da.  You're getting an entry, but no photo.  I've recently received the new Big Girl Knits book, and naturally fell in love with a pattern.  And I wanted to make the T-shirt like sweater out of linen, figuring it would be perfect for summer.  So down to my favorite LYS I go.  She carries Euroflax, and I know she could order me some.  Ummm....$150 for a t-shirt?  Even after you're giving me a great discount?  And the bamboo runs about the same.....  Maybe your Webs book?  Their linen gets it down to about $120, but still.....  How many strands of your weaver's cotton would I have to hold together to get a sport weight?  You have cones of weaver's linen?  In sport weight?  But my color choices are black, ivory, and beige?  Let me see the black and ivory.....  And how much would this linen be for my T-shirt?  $80 including taxes?  Here's my credit card.

You'll get photos after I'm done swatching.  It's a little weird to work with, so I'm sure I'm going to have to do a full-on wash in the washer, dry in the dryer before I can measure the gauge.  So the ivory swatch will be on US 5s, and the black swatch will be US 4s, since my gauge looks off on the 5s.  Then we'll see which one matches for the T-shirt.  And if neither, we can re-swatch.
