Yes, we are back from our honeymoon! We had a relaxing, fun time just enjoying the sights and each other's company on the beautiful island of Kaua'i. As wonderful as the wedding and honeymoon were, we're excited to be back and settling into our new life as a couple. I've been amazed to see how betty transforms our place from a bachelor pad to a "married home". I'll post some pictures of this metamorphisis later

A friend in need...

I'm so thankful that in the midst of all this wedding preparation madness that we have friends who cheerfully lend their hands to help us out in so many ways. I don't think Betty and I would have survived without all the help. Cheers to you! (you know who you are )

And so it begins...

On another note, they say that communication is one of the if not THE most important part of marriage. Here's one convo Betty and I had as we drove through our church parking lot yesterday:

Me: "Wow it's hot."

Betty: "What?!"

Me: "Wow it's hot...don't you think it's hot in here?"

Betty: "Oh, I thought you said, 'Wow, she's hot'."

Me:

Hmmm...maybe we need another counseling session with Pastor JP
