Old photos

my cousin just sent me photos that we'd scanned for my mom's birthday gift.  these photos especially crack me up.  me and my bro took several months of ice skating lessons which culminated in the end-of-the-year show, hence the outfit.  i was so unthrilled.  can u tell?

Steven Choi, staff attorney at the Asian American and Legal Defense and Education Fund, program coordinator with YKASEC-Empowering the Korean American Community, discusses how Koreans in New York are responding to the shootings at Virginia Tech.

Let's continue to pray for family and friends of those who have lost loved ones at VTech, including Cho Seung Hui's family.

my most embarrassing moment

ok, so i was at sarah and hanyul's wedding, mingling with different people.  it was after the ceremony, before the reception dinner, and we were all milling around before getting seated.  I was talking to some old canaan folk, entertaining them with my freakish ways when across the room i spotted some old northwestern girls i hadn't seen in a LONG LONG time.  I made my way acoss the crowded room, and came to a spot where one of the girls was standing...  I looked around to make sure no one was watching, and then i proceded to swat her buttox.
she looked up at me and was like, "heyyyyyyyyyyy..."
then i looked up and realized...  oh my gosh, i'd just smacked the butt of a complete stranger!
oh man.  i shoulda taken a better look at her face.

gracias

hey gcts people... thanks for coming over to nicole's place on tuesday!  i meant to post earlier, but got busy trying to catch a plane to chicago!  definitely fun times!  highlights?  well, lots of food...  brian and guesstures...  candyland mafia - that was def crazy.  sorry for freaking some of you out .  nicole, you were hilarious all around - starting from santa clause and capping it all off with your mad mafia skills. oh and jeane is mafia queen.

anyway, i'm back at home for the weekend for sarah and hanyul's wedding... did you know that i was sarah's bible study teacher when she was in high school?  and hanyul - he was a freshman when i was a senior at nu...  they look like chopsticks - tall and lean;  they're definitely an awesome, godly couple.  i knew from the moment i heard that it would eventually lead to marriage... well, ok, i didn't know, but really really hoped hard...  ok...  have a great weekend!
