| Merry Christmas to All! We just got back in from Mississippi. We were only there for less than 48 hours, that is my only excuse for not seeing anyone. Maybe next time we can get away for longer. I'm back at work tomorrow and husband is back the following day. My man is out searching for our dinner. It's a shame that everything is closed on Christmas. Well I hope all is well with everyone and if you ever make it out to the great state, give us a call and will have some beers on ice if you drop in. | | |
| For those of you who were wondering about my latest travel, I have made it home to the greatest country in the United States, Texas!!!! I drove straight through from Santa Fe and it is so good to be back. I hope I get to stay for a while. I think I would be okay if I never left again. | | |
| alright, sorry it's been so long. One hell of a season. It's the 50th and nobody was trying to hold anything back. We've done some amazing work out here. I've got to find a way to share pictures with ya'll. There has been no sleep, or eat, or rest. None of my clothes fit, which is great, but this isn't really the way to drop a dress size.
This is my last season in the position that I am in out here, after 5 years of working for this company there is serious talk about my returning as a design assistant on the remount of a show that was my very first show to run wardrobe for out here.
Three more weeks and it's back to Texas. I am looking forward to getting out of opera and back into theatre. For those of you who don't know, I got one of the house assistan designer positions at the same company that husband is working for.
Oh no, I hear alot of applause coming from the stage. There is a good chance that was the finale of the gala and I should get going.
Love you all much. | | |
| And the season is drawing to a close. I head off to Mo.tomorrow for my sisters college graduation. Congradulations to all of those who are graduating this year!!! Then I'm back a work for a couple of days before I'm off to New Mexico for the summer. Anyone one to sublet my place for the summer. My loft is fully furnished and a hot man will sleep with you in the bed. The asking price is a thousand a week. | | |
| And it's that time of year again. Graduation time. Time for students across the nation to stress out "Do I have enough credit hours?", "What if I don't pass this class, my parents have already booked their flight to come in, What if I can't walk?". And this is the question I am facing. My sister is supposedly graduating next month. Granted she will not have enough credit hours and will be forced to take a summer class to really graduate, but they are letting her walk. Fortunately I will not be working at the time so I can go ( Some of you may remember that I missed her highschool graduation, and the trip to Slovikia, becuase I took the job at Utah Shakes and she has informed me she will disown me if I miss this one.)
So ths question is, "To buy the airline ticket, or not to buy." If she fails anyone of those classes because she was drunk and missed to many classes I will be hell-a-pissed.
Do I get a rental car and hotel or have family pick me up and sleep at her house? What can I afford and will my parents be helping me out with the cost in order to keep their two only children on good terms. (She will leagally disown me if I am not there. I know this is not a empty threat. She has already drawn up the papers.) Is my husband even going to join me in this adventure across america. For that matter, should I really even be going since it is the last weekend we can potentially spend together before I return to my summer dwelling that is known as Santa Fe.
Any advice? Anyone? | | |
