NYC Pictures

Sorry for the delay.  Work has been insane and we have a two day managers meeting this weekend that should be horribly exciting.  I had so much fun in NYC - I tried to see so much that my feet were battered and blistered by the time we left.  Shopping was harder than I thought due to the sheer magnitude of places to shop.  I got some cute clothes at H&M and Steve & Barry's.  I am happy even though I wish I had found more cute work clothes.  Oh well I got some pants at New York & Co after I got home, that is sort of the same thing right?  The very best thing we did was go to see Rent on Broadway and eat at Bobby Flay's restaurant Bar Americain afterwards.  It was amazing.  Here is the link to my pictures http://www.flickr.com/photos/kelly_0722/sets/72157602597085041/ and my favorites are included in this post.  Have a great week!

NYC

Fun, tired, will post pictures.  I didn't get as many clothes as I wanted, but did get some things I really like.  More later.

WE'RE GOING TO NEW YORK

You read right we are now going to New York, for sure.   I am excited.  I am not going to let any of this past weeks worries ruin our trip.  Also we watched the first two episodes of Chuck last night and I think I am going to be a fan.  In my opinion it's a little Alias mixed with a little Office.  Who knew that combination would work?

Disappointment

I don't think we are going to be going to New York after all.  There are currently a lot of changes going on at Tim's work and most likely this is going to result in no New York trip.  I am beyond disappointed.  I am proud of myself that I still went to the gym last night and tried my hardest even after I found out.  At least now the getting in shape is really about me and nothing else.  I do feel bad because I really wanted to go to NYC, but then I immediately think of people like Molly & Abraham (http://www.desiringgod.org/Blog/829/)that are going through more than I could even imagine and it makes my no NYC trip seem silly.  I am just trying to keep in mind that even through life's toughest days there is a purpose beyond anything I can comprehend.

Posting Laziness

So I have been pretty lax about my posting, but fortunately I have not been as negligent on the workouts.  I have kept it rolling.  This past week has gone better than the couple weeks before.  This week I made it to 3 classes at the Y, 1 step, 1 dance and 1 cardio/core.  I did one night of pilates, one night of Denise Austin Burn Fat Fast and two days of walking in the neighborhood with husband and/or dogs.  Only 2 weeks left to go before NYC and I think I have about 15 stores on my must go list.  I might have to cut that down a bit or I might spend my day walking all over Manhattan.

I finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and I loved it.  It really was all that I hoped for and I can't wait until the last 2 movies come out.  What a nerd.

We went to the Tennessee State Fair on Friday night and it was all the strange country craziness I could have hoped for.  We saw three 'shows' - http://www.warhorsesoftheworld.com/index.html

Honestly you can't ask for much more than that for a Friday night.
