| finally updating again :)
so it looks like i actually will pass all my classes this semester (albeit just barely). woohoo!! :) can't wait to get out of here. still got 4 more days of stress doing hws, finals, and projects, and then my 30 pg. M.Eng project report and then i'm done w/school forever. i'm definitely not coming back for a Ph.D.
anyways, looks like i didn't completely finish my summer plans last summer, so it gets added again:
- surf lessons!! (hehe i need to actually try before i leave)
- trade
in my 5- 6-year-old permit for a driver's license ...this has much more weight now that i'm moving to seattle in aug. and apparently public transportation there sucks... :(
- spend
more time w/people!! ...it's pretty much the last true summer for most of us before we all move away and start careers...a bit sad...a part of me still doesn't wanna grow up!! ;)
- purchase a Wii and teach grandparents how to play :) ...this should be interesting
- build a new computer (the $16K MacPro i want is a bit out of my price-range hehe) and install Vista and Office 2007 (thanks Msft for the $800 worth of software!!)
- purchase an iPhone? ...hehe or is that not allowed since I'll be working on Outlook Mobile?

| wow, didn't realize it's been this long since i updated. almost forgot how to use this thing :) anywayz, gonna be graduating this semester :). if u got nothing else to do and wouldn't mind coming, it'll be at waikiki shell on wed. may 17, 6:30 pm. although i hear it's a pretty long ceremony so sorry in advance. also, looks like i'll finally be getting off this rock and living in new york for a year (got accepted into cornell for grad skool...about $50,000 but at least it's only 1 year!!).
hmmm...funny how only now i am actually starting to appreciate hawaii and miss it (i'm semi-seriously considering moving to san fran after grad skool). so some of my summer plans include:
- taiwan for a couple weeks (hopefully my dad let's me go)
- san francisco for at least a week (for work)
- surf lessons!! (hehe i need to actually try before i leave)

 ) - spend more time w/people!! (i'll try but might be kinda hard as i've already committed to my boss that i would work full-time in the summer)

| guess it's time to update...and elaborate about my dog...
stupid neighbors were complaining that he was howling so we had to give him back  but i still miss him and think of him a lot...despite him being so naughty hehe. even though it was so short, i loved that dog and every moment i spent with him (except when he wouldn't let me go to sleep that last night)
skool's over...yay!!...CSCI 3753 (A), CSCI 3301(A?), CSCI 2711(A-?), CSCI 2913(C- or F), ENG 3350 (A-?), CHIN 1100 (A)...hehe kinda messed up on my 2913 class...stupid programs weren't working, meaning no credit for them, including 45% of final. oh well, can't do anything about it now.
everyone's back home!!! YIPEE!!! got to go w/lorina & her mom yesterday (also saw Tu for like 5 sec) and met my baby @ the airport (took about 2 hours because of the traffic, but it was all worth it). and thanks for my present baby...kinda funny how my grandparents were all happy, but mommy kinda freaked out...haha daddy didn't see yet  | | |

| i finally got a dog!!! i'm so happy ...he's a Basenji, name's Koa, 4 years old, and totally adorable. but don't worry babe, I still love you more . miss you lots but just over a month more...

as for skool...it's coming along. ENG 3350 (Lit. Adapted to Screen) not bad...just takes up lots of time, CHIN 1100 (Beginning Mandarin) okay for now, CSCI 2913 (Program Prob. Solving)...well, i don't pay attention in class so what can i say, CSCI 2711 (Assembly)...haven't been paying attention in this class either, CSCI 3301 (Database)...never read the book at all so kinda lost right now, CSCI 3753 (Java) easiest class i got. at least as of right now i got all A's but not sure how long i can hold them at the rate i'm going...oh well, just as long as i pass i guess. | | |
