| It turns out I do not have achillies tendinitus...I have a 60% chance of a stress fracture and a 40% chance of shin splints. If I have shin splints then I can start running again...but if I have a stress fracture...then im out for a month-2 months...but I already took 2 weeks off so it might be just another 2 weeks. For anyone that doesn't know what a stress fracture is, according to the doctor, it is a bone on my tibia that is broken. It is the most comman injury for a long distance runner. If im not back in 2 weeks then I have no choice but to skip the Baltimore Marathon  just because I won't be in shape for it. AHHH, im done bitching and complaining for today. Now to sports...Yankees are sucking again...Braves are sucking...Orioles are struggling but they won last night...Spurs will hopefully sweep...and hopefully Tiger Woods wins the U.S. Open. They are playing at Pinehurst No.2, that is where me, wiedel, and hose are playing at next year...hopefully or we are playing in hiltonhead...with there famous course Harbour Town. How bout Sorenstam lately...hopefully she will win the grandslam. I think it is awesome that they played a major championship right in our backyard (Bulle Rock). Well, I can't wait to get back into running...these past 2 weeks seem like 2 years AHHHHHH...
Payne Stewart statue after he made his putt on 18th at Pinehurst to win the U.S. open over Phil Mickelson. My favorite golfer and always will be. He died in a plane crash. The statue was made shortly after his death for his memory and it stands on the 18th hole. Truely one of the greatest golfers that ever lived!
Now for runners...here is one of the greatest runners of all time. He has won a over 6 gold medals and at one time had the world record for the 10000 meter run from the guy that is running next to him. Haile Gebrselassie and Kenosha Bekele.

| Not much going on lately. I might be getting a new job at the Charm City Running Store on Main Street! I know I will love this job considering I get to talk about what I love to do all day long! AHHHH I NEED TO START RUNNING AGAIN!!!! MY MIND IS GOING CRAZY lol! Im going to senior week for a couple of days next week!!! I can't wait for that! But other then that, that is all in the life of Matt Klaschus. Now to sports...Yankees lose 3 straight...Orioles are doing awesome...and the best team in baseball is the White Sox. Who would of ever thought that? Duke loses Shavlik Randolph, but im glad he is the only underclassman leaving! Yup...not much to talk about lately, congrats class of 2005! | | |
| Not much to update lately...I can't run for a while...im out for over a week- a month. I have what is called achillies tendinitus. If I keep running then it will eventually snap, which means I won't be able to run for over 2 years-life. So I might as well just take this time off of running. If I im a fast healer and im back within a week, I am running the Bel Air town run. I will probably suck at that race, but o well. Well nothing really happy going on lately except for the Yankees winning 10 straight, Braves are in first place, but Reggie Miller is retiring. He truely dominated at the three point line. What a great career Reggie has had. Another cool thing, summer started for me last thursday  . Well other then that, my golf game seems to be getting better, my goal is to break 80 this year! But my best so far is 96  ...I need some practicing hahaha. Well im out for a pasta party at Mr. Thom's house. | | |
| Well, I had a couple people tell me I need to update. LOL I had 3 comments from the same person on my last entry. Allrite back to what I am updating. Unless I fixed this, I have a virus. Sarah has the same virus (because i got it from her). So don't click it. I think I did fix it though. Sarah if you need help to get rid of it, call me up, i'll come over and fix it. I hate people who do that stupid virus shit. They are smart people who have absoluetly no life except making people's lives hell on a computer. But in the end, im the stupid idiot for clicking it lol. The semester is almost done! Yankees have won 4 straight. My Braves are playing great baseball. HOW BOUT THEM ORIOLES!!! But the big question is, how long will this streak last? I still think the Yankees will come back. But put Bernie Williams on the field. Don't bench him. Well that's all for now. | | |
| This week has been quite interesting. I turned in all my projects and stuff. One more week and im done. Let me tell you, waking up at 9:00 and getting done my classes by 12:30 is soooo stressful, I need a huge break  . We are done on May 12th hahahaha! Finals are going to be hard though. Anyways, I can't run for a couple of days because I have achillies tenditus on my other leg. So I haven't been sleeping much. O yeah any runners out there, ill talk to Brett Kelly about this. Me, Rory Jenkins, Emile Bojanov, Jason Jura, and 2 other people have started this running log thing. It's a team that Rory has started, it's pretty cool. It's mainly just for training, but we will be racing. Talk to me about it, it is really cool. Yesterday I played golf with Hose and we ended up playing with Bel Air's principal. He is a very nice guy. He told us that he told the office at the end of the day to screw themselves, im playing some golf hahaha. I shot a 99 which is allrite i guess for the beginning of the year. Hose shot a 105. I forgot what the principal shot. Maybe 102...but other then that, I need to work on putting. Well that's all I can talk about for this week. I can't wait until 1:00 on May 12th because summer has officially began! | | |
