Hey everyone!
Hope all of your summers are going well. My summer has been pretty crazy so far...
The first week I got back was my birthday then I went to pick up Alex from his school and got to hang out there with him and meet his friends..so much fun. He took me to Olive Garden for my birthday and we went rock climbing for a while and just hung out...lots of fun!

I got a summer job this past week, I'm working at a summer camp program at a Christian School here...I'm with kids ages 2 - 10 everyday from 8 - 5....pretty tiring, but it's good.

Today I'm actually going to go record for the band that my boyfriend is in. They are almost done with their CD and they need a choir part for two of the songs so they asked if I could sing with them in that. pretty exciting stuff. yay for being on the new Shattered View CD

Well I better get going...love and miss you all!

Such a fun and relaxing weekend with the family.  Now I'm back here at school with 5 finals to go before I go back home for the summer.  I'm so excited...about going home, not so much about the finals.

I can't even believe that I'm almost done with my first year of college. Crazy how fast time flies...
God has taught me more than I ever could have imagined this past year. He has really tested me and things have been pretty difficult at times, but He has proved himself faithful. The more difficult the trial the more I see His love and His faithfulness.  This past year has definitely not been all trials though, he has also blessed me enormously.  He has given me such great friends here, being at this school is a blessing in itself. He is AMAZING. I love him so much.

So I better get to studying now...yay.
I'm out.

"Sometimes I feel so lost
with no where left to go
i call out, but no one can hear me.
i'm so confused, but no one understands
where do i find the answers to all that life demands?
just when i think there's no where left to turn
i look up to the sky and hear the whispers that you cry

You say:
'I'm here with my arms open wide
I can wipe away all the tears that you've cried
you need me and that's why i'm calling out to you
please come back.'"

My God is amazing...He's more than amazing...He's beyond description.

Enough said.

Simply Nothing

What a semester this has already been and we are only 3 weeks into it!  I wish I could somehow describe to you how much God has been working in my life. He has done so much in these past weeks, it sometimes seems a little bit overwhelming. So many things that I don't understand, but He remains faithful. He is changing me, making me more like Him, and even though it's tough at times I love it. I love that He loves me that much to put me through these things so that my relationship with Him can be more solid. I would just ask for your prayers for my family, and a couple of my friends who are going through some difficult times right now. God will do amazing things with us once we surrender to Him. I love it.
