Back at the loo

my lazy-ass self is finally awaken! last post was in august and now its december but i'm still yet to post something...however, after reading countless number of xanga entries from ppl on my list I feel kinda obligated to post something of my own...

my 1st ever co-op work term started WAY back in sept. believe it or not I actually didn't start working till oct due to the insane number of hours of training that my company put me thru. It was honestly frustrating to have to go thru training where 50% of the stuff I learned I'll never ever need again within my 8 months stay in Apotex. Nonetheless training ended and I got my 1st ever task assigned to me...it's called 'bulk & sieve'...however everyone else calls it the 'bulk&sh*t' cuase its so tedious and gay that almost a 5 yr old can do with their eyes closed. well for your information it's basically a test where I run lots and lots of powder thru a bunch of meshes and put it into a shaker for 30 mins...oh yea almost forgot, I gotta grind those damn powder further into powder as well...hah...besides this crappy test I've also been assigned some more crappy tasks when other co-workers are too 'busy' to finish so I get the honour to finish it for them...like grinding tablets into powders and weighing them out on a dish...as boring as I just made this job sounds like I'm actually haivng a great time...though the ppl there are all in their late 30s to mid 40s (w/ so exceptions) they are all really nice to me...treating me like their 'kid' almost...well let's just say they ALWAYS talk about their kids! haha....everyday I come home dead tired cuase of how much labour they put me thru...so I usualy just nap, eat, then sleep some more! but in the end staring at the pay cheque every other week reminds me of how blessed I'm. On top of that I somehow got a $1000 bonus and a raise from my compnay for doing nothing apparently? so this job ain't so bad afterall! haha

going thru this boring routine of work everyday really made time fly...it's now less than a week till xmas and I still havne't even started my shopping yet! for ppl of course! I actually gave it a push yesterday as Gab and I went to buffalo to shop...well the main purpose of us going was actually to drive Mike to the airport in buffalo...lol...he planned everything so that he could save some $$ if he fly from buffalo to NY instead of flying from TO to NY...but somehow he ended up with no rides to buffalo...so as the kind person that I'm I skipped work to drive him there! :)...nonetheless it was a totally worth-it trip cuase I won't be seeing him for 9 months while he'll be enjoying himself all over Asia with his hookers...haha...I'll miss you Mike! anyway, after Gab and I departed with Mike at the airport we began our journy towards Walden Galleria (the mall)...with such high expectations going into the mall we came out of the mall empty handed except for a Wii controller for John...well I guess it wasn't that bad considering we actually found a Wii controller where it's no where to be found in TO....But before we headed to the Prime Outlet we discovered the newly opened 'Cheesecake Factory'!!! I had a piece way back when I went to Philly with the Maks...that delicious yet fattening taste still lingers in my mouth when I saw the 'Cheesecake Factory' sign...so with a short debate with Gab we finally decided to pay the $7 USD to get a slice since he'd never had one b4...however, Gab said it would taste better if we eat it after dinner instead...so we saved it till after more shopping at Prime Outlet (I only got 2 shirts and Gab bought nothing) and dinner at Applebees...we finally opened the much anticipated cheesecake after crossing the boarder...Gab took the first bite and all he said was "It's good but I can bake one with less than $7!"...haha...he said that'll be my xmas presents lol...after the long dark drive back to TO I got home and collasped on my bed...
