  • this past weekend a lot of stuff happened,
    Saturday:
    1. ate dim sum with tony and his parents, downstairs of his house
    2. had dinner with Sam (tony's best friend) in Tsuen Wan. Sam had got us souvenirs from his trip to Tibet. he got me a bracelet and got tony a hat and a orange button-down shirt, will post pix later of it. it is suppose to be the style of that place (said Sam)
    3. went to GigiSports and got a swim suit for my meet on Sept 22 =P it was on sale cuz it's the end of summer! i got it for 181 HKD cuz Sam had a membership card!

    Sunday:
    1. Went to Macau
        - we got on the 9am boat and arrived there around 10am there were so many people going through the immigration place, i had to run to get in line first for tony's mom, sister and tony after they met up with me, they made a lot of people behind us get into another lane =P
        - our first stop was the Venetian, we took a free shuttle bus from the harbor but the wait was about 30 mins, the line was soo long, with so many people!!!
        - at the Venetian, we played slot machines, didn't win any =\ but we did drink a lot of their OJ and bottled water
        - then our next stop was to the Macau Tower, this is my third time going up there, nothing special anymore we did see a girl do the skyjump pretty awesome, they made her stop in mid-air to take a pix of her, she was soo scared =P she didn't dare to look down!
        - we took a bus to St. Paul's Ruins
        - taste tested the famous Almond cakes and peanut candy, we ate soo much that we didn't really needed to have lunch.
        - for lunch we had 'pork steak bread' for only 10 HKD each! it was yummy =P
        - went to go buy the almond cakes, cuz we didn't want to have to carry them to eat lunch we bought a total of 8 boxes of Almond Cake, 4 bags of Peanut candy, 2 egg roll cookies, and 2 chinese-style beef/ostrich jerky
        - then we took a bus, that had water dripping from the AC vent on us, to Sands and gambled there a bit, i played the ghetto-styled version of the 'blazin' sevens' and won 5 HKD for my brother, with putting in only             20 HKD =P
        - then while walking back to the ferry place we stopped by and soaked in the Fisherman's Wharf, took some pictures
    2. took the 7pm boat back to HK had dinner and arrived back home at 9pm and passed out!

    Monday:
    1. no spanish class today
    2. went to TST east to have lunch with Tony, i had a baked Eel rice and tony got a cheesey salmon noodle dish. even though the waitress warned me about my plate being really hot, i still managed to burn my arm by accidentally touching the plate =\
    3. met up with Nicole at the TST MTR station and traveled to Goo Jeh's place to drop off what i got them in Macau and give Nicole some of the other post-its
    4. went to the jean place we each bought one pair each mine was 100 and hers 90 =P
    5. we decided to go back to TST east's starbucks to work on her stuff, where i also waited on Tony to get off of work, i wonder what time he will get off today =\ stupid job of his! cheezers!

What have I been up to?
-Fixing my schedule for this year, finally got 'TW' for that broadening class that Nicole and I have been wanting to take, I hope it is the right decision to take this class. i'm planning to take 75 credits for the whole year, when 72 is the max credits a 'normal student' is to take that is majoring in BA&BEd and minoring in Spanish, so wish me luck! no more off-day for me, boooo!
-got my student visa for this year to continue studying at HKU
-got my school books, they were SOOOOOOOOOOOOO expensive cheezers! but it sure does make me 'seem' studious =P
-hanging out with Nicole, we had to catch up since we haven't seen each other since the beginning of the summer! we are planning to workout more this year PLUS study more of course AND find cheap housing close to school!
-joined the swim team for St John's College again, had my first practice yesterday (thursday night) the practice was a good start to whipping me back in shape for the inter-faculty meet on the 22nd of Sept. i'm planning to do the 50 butterfly, oh bother! wish me luck AND even pray for me that i wouldn't make a fool outta myself. =P

  • sigh finally finished registering for classes just now, what a hassle! i had to make phone calls to yell at people because, as always they mess things up for me and Nicole =\

today was soo freakishly hot!!! my brother and i went to houston today to get his visa for india by the galleria,  he drove, while I literally passed out, not waking up until we got to our destination. while my brother was at the embassy, McCoy and I walked around the williams tower and the waterfall. once it got too hot we chilled at the Starbuck's patio, until my brother gave me a call. Then we met up with our mom and dai yee at kingwood's deerbrook mall to eat lunch, but ended up going to Dai Yee's house to eat. of all the days that the AC in the house could break, it had to be today when we were there. it felt like i was back in hong kong again, just using fans through the house!

it was my turn to drive the way back to austin, but i was sooo tired, to keep myself occupied and awake i had to blast the radio/cds and sing/shout at the top of my lungs, while my brother passed out in the passenger seat and McCoy laying on the car floor by his feet. he said that he didn't hear, feel, or saw anything when i was sleeping. or yea and i also took pictures while driving, that was interesting, becuase i first had to find my camera which was in my backpack in the backseat, took pix of the sunset, sooo pretty! the drive was about 2.5 to 3 hrs. and we went straight to Rich and Mary's place to go out to eat at Pluckers =)

then worked on my class schedule, which took about 10 hours to figure out and get straight, so now i'm going to crash and prolly not get up 'til 4pm! hehe

P.S. i can't wait to webcam with you baby!
