Well...Here I am at work. I have my little cubbyhole in the back today where I wait for patients to come in. Imagine that- I'm waiting for patients to have an emergency. Today's shift is a 6:30a-5p so I am already tired. Actually, I never really woke up! After that I have a load of dishes waiting for me, countless heaps of laundry, and just a general "pick-up" of areas of the house from the weekend - If I'm too tired when I get home from work I'll simply crash on the couch, turn on my favorite sit-com and put some soup or some sort of something to eat on and save the rest of the housework until tomorrow after school. Either that or wait until about ten o'clock when I usually get my second wind. ;)

You ever notice how laundry never goes away? It's always there...A growing pile. And so you have to waste money from laundry detergent, the electric bill from the dryer, and spend uber amounts of time folding clothes that will just end up in that bottomless heap again by next week! It's exhausting; however, if someone did invent something such as disposable clothing, I'd probably be too much of a tighwad to buy something that you wear once and throw away.

Gaaaaah there goes the nurse again, marching his way to triage with a handful of clipboards to fill up and bring to me. And here sit I, mentally begging him to put a "closed" sign on the counter and tell those chest pains and broken arms to wait until tomorrow. No... I'm really not that mean. I really enjoy my job - besides today I had the unmatchable oppurtunity to see a toe - the second toe, to be specific - completey bent off sideways. It made little shivers crawl up my back, and as much as it made me want to turn away, I kept having to look! GROSS.

Today marks the anniversary of something special. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm sure something special happened on this day, sometime.

Wow, peeps. The other day I was able to go back and youtube last week's American Idol songs. I don't get to watch that show much anymore... But I am simply fascinated with David Cook and Brooke White. But not as fascinated as I am with my newfound artist that -of all things- my dad introduced me too. I was showing him some Michael Bolton music, and he thought it sounded similar to a hippie-aged musician named Joe Cocker. I don't know, maybe I'm the only person on the planet to have never heard of him but - nevertheless - I went and bought a cd (and, mind you, I was actually thisclose to buying 2) and I really love it! The music can be a bit overwhelming but his voice is actually awe-inspiring.

Ah well. And off I better go with my endless thoughts... until next time I have the random inkling to post up here, which I am hoping to make a bit more frequent, as I think it's good for me to write my own thoughts for once, rather than rambling on at what I think my teachers would like to hear. ;)

For some reason, I have the urge to post on xanga...

I've been thinking a lot lately....not that that's unusual, and not about anything in particular, just thinking. About anything and everything. Thinking until it feels like there are tiny little ants crawling around in my head, and it's un-nerving!

Now......if I could just put some of those thoughts into words and get them out of my head!

*SIGH* It's a sad world for those of us who aren't writers...

Ok! My new job is going REALLY well! ....Now if I can just stay caught up on the laundry and housework and everything else!

I watched "The Prestige"....am I the only one who figured it out before it was over????

My feet are cold.

I get to go watch my little bro ref a game today!! It's about time!!

Yesterday I went to go see Britton and Graham in Beauty and the Beast...it was amazing!!! Everyone did great acting, and I cannot believe all the voice talent in that musical!

....Goin to OKC next weekend......

My mom's b-day was this week HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMA!! She's really only had eleven birthdays and this year she didn't really have one....but we'll celebrate anyway....because we love her...

Ok got to go do dishes--cya!!!

Well, well, well. This shall be my attempt at a xanga post at 6:40 in the morning. Mind you, it can't be too long because I have to get ready for work soon.

~Ok. First on the list, I am going to see my family tonight! Sweet beans.

~Secondly, I have two unknown facts to share.

1) I am a tad cold right now.

2) It is your womanly duty (if you're a woman) to check each bathroom stall in an empty public bathroom before you use one. Then you must make a choice as to which stall to use based on: a) the cleanest stall b)your ability to zip your pants and run out the door quickly in case you get spooked. What's the matter...doesn't flushing the toilet in an empty restroom scare the bejeebers out of anyone but me?

~Ok. Next on the list, I would like everyone to join my club. It's called PACU. No, this is not a hospital term. Not anymore, that is. This club is the People Against Costco Unite club. Let me explain.

(Why can't you just do a single space on this thing?) Jacob and I were out Christmas shopping. Yes, at the last minute, shut up. Anyway, we were looking for a certain gift at a certain price for a certain brother. As we could not find a very good price, Jacob, driving along, stated, "Wanna try Costco?" I agreed. Never having been there, I had heard myths and rumors about the exellent prices. Like a bedtime story, people oooh and aaaawww about Costco's largeness and lowness. Slowly and with wonder we entered this incredible building, looking like two deer in headlights. (Really really cute deer.)

Well, the "greeter" (I now know he was much more than that...he was a communist spy) noticed that we were new. "Have you ever been here before?" He said in his pathetic voice. We shook our heads. "Well," said he, "You can go over there and get a viewing pass." Thinking that we had misunderstood him, we began to just move on. But a look came over the man. A look like, "Am I going to have to throw you out of the store???" And he just pointed to the counter again and said, "Over there." So Jacob and I got a viewing pass. A VIEWING PASS!!! To buy anything though, anything at all, we would have to pay get a membership card with all our information, and our picture on it. As we exited the store a few minutes later, (their prices were the same as everyone elses...) I noticed that the people who were coming in were flashing their passes. Each person had to show their membership card to the spy at the door just to get in. My take? Unamerican. For heaven's sake, let the people shop! I SUPPORT WAL-MART SUPERCENTER AND TARGET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should too. If we let Costco win, we die with our liberty. Ok maybe we won't die, but you get the picture. Oh and there'e a reason why the Costco sign is red.....

~Btw, I am learning how to give specific things over to the Lord. Sometimes it is not easy, so if you want you can pray for me. I serve a mighty God and I have some awesome friends.

~The other day was a tedious and difficult day at work. It's been a busy three weeks. Jacob must have caught on, because he called me in the middle of the day, and though I couldn't pick up at the moment, I listened to voicemail later. "Hey sweetie..." He said, "I was wondering if you'll go on a date with me tonight..." My bad day just sorta melted away, especially after he brought flowers with him. I have an awesome husband.

~Praise the Lord my mother found a surgeon who could relieve her back pain! He is a Christian too! She had her surgery yesterday, and went home the same day. She's tired and resting, but has minimal pain, especially compared to the pain she was dealing with before!

~I have a little bruise on my forehead where a very drugged-up mother threw a pill bottle at me because she thought I have eyes in the back of my head and would catch it. Instead, I just turned around and bam! She looked so startled, then started laughing, then crying. LOL, *sigh*.... I am really grateful for this surgeon.....

~So, I keep hearing something crawling around in the ceiling at work. It's really gross--it'll go from one side of the office to the other side. And it sounds like it has scratchy nails. GAG ME!!! So I have come to the conclusion that it is one of two things: (1) A psycho stalker with long fingernails and disgustingly long and greasy hair and bad teeth with dirt all over them who is living in the ceiling while....stalking. (2)A big, fat RAT!!!! ....Not sure which is worse, the rat or the psycho, but whatever the case, the extermitor came in yesterday to put some poison up there. Hey. Maybe it's a squirrel. Now THAT would be nice!

~Ok so this is long enough but hey! Salvation Army is having their warehouse open next week, so go help distribute gifts!! It's such an amazing experience. To feel like you are touching someone's life in even such a small way is astounding.

Lord, let me always have the desire to love and help others more than myself. Let it not burn out, because I know it came from You.

Unfortunately, our jobs didn't allow us much time for a honeymoon, so we went to San Antonio for the weekend. We'll take a big trip later, but we had sooo much fun anyway! Here are some of our favorite pictures from the weekend.
