| | Well, it's been quite a while since I was on here. I don't even know where to start.. Life is good. Still liking the bank job, for the most part! I may be starting up massage school this summer.. I'm so excited about that prospect. Winter might finally be over here in Spokane, and that is a good thing. Snow up to my knees is fun for a Saturday, not when I have to drive to work in it! It's pretty much all melting away though. Jared and I went hiking this afternoon, and it was so good to get out and enjoy nature, see the little green sprouts coming up along the trails.. ahh. Lovely:) This spring looks like it's going to be pretty busy for me. One of my oldest friends is getting married in April, and I'm lucky enough to be one of her bridesmaids. We met in kindergarten, and were best of friends right off the bat. Through the years, we definitely parted ways "groupwise". But even though we have different friends, its always like no time has passed when we get together. I'm sure when we turn 30, we'll keep our promise of going sky diving AGAIN! Anyways, coming back to my original point, I've got a bachelorette party, a wedding, MRI's (don't worry, they are routine) a possible trip to Vegas and a trip to California all in the next few months! Memorial Day weekend Jared and I hope to fly down to Cali to visit my grandfather. His health hasn't been the greatest lately, which is to be expected with the numerous strokes he has suffered from the past few years. He wasn't able to make it to the wedding, and I really would love for him to meet Jared before he passes away. I haven't seen him in about 2 years, and it's one of those things I need to do..or regret it for the rest of my life.. Speaking of travelling... I don't know if anyone even reads this anymore, but I'm looking for some insight on cruise lines. Jared and I are planning to go on a Caribbean cruise this summer, and I'm kind of overwhelmed by all the lines and ships and ratings and such. SO.. if you have been on one, or even heard good things of a certain line, let me know:) This post kind of makes us sound like world travellers. We aren't..but I'd like to be! haha. Seriously though, I had a bit of a revelation these past few weeks. A friend of mine from the Cancer Center recently passed away. I probably mentioned her in some of my posts while I was going through chemo. Danielle was the most amazing spirit I have ever met. She went through so much, and always had a sparkle in her eye that can only come from God. If I could be half the inspiration that I know she was to so many people, I would be satisfied. We kind of lost touch when I moved to Spokane, but I kept meaning to get a hold of her and see how she was doing. About a month ago, I received a letter from the center and was under the impression she was finished with treatments. Two weeks later I found out she passed away. It's been really hard knowing that I don't have that time I thought I did to catch up with her. I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't want to put things off, thinking I have all the time in the world. Every minute we are on this earth should be used to the fullest, and I intend to do that. Jared and I are going on trips now, using our good glasses and silverware now..otherwise..when will we?! So that's that. I hope you enjoyed my little update on life...
