new deal: take notice of this site, and then visit this site: http://www.livejournal.com/users/chbang
and tell me which you would prefer to see.

Right now, I've got pictures floating all around the place-- so it might be worthwhile to check out the new site.

To tell you the truth, I created the livejournal account so that 1) it might be easier to upload pictures 2) my sister can post comments easier and I can post to her journal under something other than "anonymous" and 3) it has other features

I have found, however, that it's actually easier to post pictures here on xanga b/c on either blog I have to upload to snapfish before posting them.

So why don't you all just save me the effort and go see pictures on my snapfish account?!

anyways -- comments please.
btw... T stands for tofu.

okay folks -- this is the official update... but i can't promise to be coherent because i'm also talking to a certain sister on the phone right now.

but maki insists that i write something -- so here are some pictures... and stuff.

i am indeed back in boston and yes, my job has begun. 5 year olds -- lots of them. high energy -- lack of attention -- minimal break time --- but cuteness anyways.

this last three day weekend was much fun ~ mostly owing to the visit from the maki/ming-ming/connie visit. yaaaay! 4th of july ....

bbq out on the front lawn of the house .... including veggie burgers (and some other meaty stuff...)

maki decided to hit a few street balls with the other fraternity.... she showed them some skills and then retired~

then some fireworks on the esplanade .... which were amazing. i forget what it was called exactly~ but something about a fireworks spectacular where the boston pops play music and the fireworks over the river were coordinated to it.

this is us on storrow drive ... which they closed down so people can spread themselves out along the river.

here are some pictures from the day after --- lunch and shopping and what not ~

we ate at island hopper ~ then shopped along newbury (urban, newbury comics, etc) -- then off to super 88 for bubble tea and lots of convo ~

here are some other random pictures for my own amusement ...

tomorrow ~ work starts up again. ahh monday ~ what are you to me?

plans for this week? hmmm -- i'd like to hit up veggie planet. yum yum pizza. then there's the books i'm supposed to read... Liberal Racism being the new one.

finished Harry Potter -- i won't say much so as not to spoil ~ but i have to say... overall, a lot less happened than i expected.

all right -- that's all folks. mmm -- looking forward to the pita i have made for tomorrow's lunch ~ avocado, "cheese," lettuce... mmm mmm.

okay -- i'd better shower and hit the hay~ woo.

i'm home.

let the festivities begin.

so yesterday was father's day ... and in our excursion for the golf balls dad wanted, my sister and i also found an excuse to visit the following....

The Door Store... formerly known as The Wiz. where am i supposed to get cds and electronics at discount prices now? i feel like a part of my childhood/high school experience has been torn down. who shops at the door store any way??

so... the next logical place.... Best Buy. But did they have the camera bag i wanted? no. so did we make our way to the cds? yes.

pc richards and radio shack... because they were right there and might have had camera cases. they did not.

burlington coat factory --- because my sister likes "cheap" clothing... in the literal and not slutty sense. she bought a halter with cherries on it... again, not in the slutty sense. she had to shrink it in the wash before wearing it.... and i must say again.........

zanadu -- because of hair product reasons. enough said.

nathan's --- yes, the hot dog place. what where we doing there? getting pictures taken, of course! but was the photo booth broken? yes. our plan was foiled.

and so ~ our little drive down central avenue was certainly exhausting. my poor sister got enough driving in jammed parking lots to last her a lifetime.

today was monday -- it consisted of CPK, Little Italy and Sex and the City. i am still full from dinner. gnocchi ... you will be the love and end of me!!

would you say you have a love/eight relationship?

we're on cloud nine!

tomorrow might be beach day... it all really depends on whether the sun feels like making an appearance.

i'm ready for...

-- my old wake-up time back. 6:45 was cool because it was special and i could do awesome morning stuff.

noon sucks because i've wasted the day away and can only call myself lazy.

-- something exciting. today's exciting feat was walking to virgin records and buying OK Computer. a good thing to do, but sad as the exciting point.

-- home cookin. or rather... home kitchen so i can do the elaborate cookin --- seitan, gazpacho, fake chicken, veggie meatballs, avocado sandwiches...the works. i'm talkin mrs. green's and trader joe's the first day i get home.

-- intellectual stimulation. the thing inside my head is dead and/or sleeping. and dead. and a;lskdjh ;lksaefio a;k adfie. wake up brain!

-- summer weather... but not too hot please. mmm... air conditioning as the ultimate guilty pleasure right now.

-- friday night. no plans, but it must be a friday night.

-- another good, long, body cleansing, heart rocking and refreshing run or rollerblade. note to self: running with athletes was already decidedly a bad idea... especially with trackies. just when i thought i was somewhat in shape -- :P also -- just when i thought all the trackies in my life lived in scarsdale.

-- that free guster concert. if i don't get off my ass and go do something, i'll kick myself.

-- seein all my dale buddies ~ startin saturday we're catching up. i'll miss my new boston pals~ but the next week will be some needed connections back to the homefront --- especially with the butter... aka: thissitewomps (if you've seen the comments to some of my posts)

i think this entry is long enough now.

i'm ready for...........bed. mmmbedmmm.

hm -- yesterday was odd -- not bad odd... well, some bad odd...with this whole sandwich episode and the lack of cash. geez. since when do you need MONEY to pay for food? some people.

and once again, i don't even know why i'm posting when you all already know i'm not doing anything :)

i am coming home on saturday though -- so prepare for the funnest week ever... or else! i'm talking cosi's... sunshine everyday... outdoor games, everybody happy... baking, trip to six flags......if any of you have "work", i swear.....

that is all. when i get home, i'll have my digicam to play with ~ so brace yourselves.

back in the dale -- june 14th.

boston 2003 carries on.
