Hey All!!

Spring break is almost here!! I'm gonna be going down to Buras, Louisana to help with hurricane relief. I'm going with a group from Campus Students for Christ and we're working through a minstry called  "Operation Feed My Sheep." We're leaving Saturday afternoon. I'm excited and kinda nervous. I ask for you prayers for health, saftey, and good attitudes. Nothin else much new here. Hope everyone's holdin up at this stressful time of the semester! God Bless!!

Hey All!!

Just got back from a winter retreat in Springfield and it rocked!! The speaker was Mark Nelson from Knoxville,TN and it was all about faith. He had a very different approach to his messages which I thought was very effective. I felt like he really got on our (as college students) level and reached out to us. I also went to this women's workshop that which was really inspiring. I've had some male friends lately that have kind of, withour my even realizing it, brought down my self esteem as a female. The speaker talked about Eve and when God created the earth and man, everything was perfect but one thing was missing...woman. She really gave us insight to our place on earth and how much God cares for us. It was very uplifting and encouraging!! Hope all is going well for everyone!! God Bless!!

So I realize its been quite some time since my last post. Hope all is going well with everyone. Things are well here...just had my senior recital on Saturday which went alright. I was a little disappointed with the way I played but it wasn't awful. Keeping busy with school work and Campus Students for Christ commitments. Also, trying to figure what I'm going to be over the summer and next semester....Macomb, Dyer, somewhere...only God knows at this point. Lots to do as I'm sure many of you are finding yourself in this same position. Thankfully we have a Savior who is able to carry our burdens because there is no way we could do it on our own....how awesome is He!!! God Bless!!!

A belated Merry Christmas to everyone! Can't believe Christmas is over and we're on our to a new year! I finally made it home to Chicago on Christmas eve. My family and have just moved out of our house in Lansing and have moved into my Grandparents old house-which is kinda unusual. Needless to say I felt the need to escape so I'm currently in a Panara eating lunch and checking e-mail b/c we don't have internet hookup. Nothin else much new. Hope everyone is enjoying Christmas and New Years celebrations! God Bless!

bbbbrrrrrrr!!!!!! it is soooo cold outside...I just talked to my parents who are 4 hours NE of me and told me its about 10 degrees warmer up there...what's that about?? Oh well, I am enjoying the beautiful snow!! So, its been a while since my last posting...life is quite busy right now...finals next week, blah, then my family is moving into my grandparents house where we'll live for month then move into our new house in Indiana. I'm also moving into a different apartment at school, needless to say endless packing is taking place.  Its gonna be weird to leave our house and my apartment but I'm really excited for our new house in Indiana and I'm also extremely excited to live with Alysa next semester. Hope everything is going wonderfully for everyone else. God Bless!!
