| | Debate TournamentThe debate tournament was this weekend it was fun. I didn't think that my partner and I were doing very well at all the entire tournament. The only round we for sure won was the last round that we won on topicality. We then went into watch the rebuttals of a round which we thought was one of the semi-final rounds.
After another 2 and a half hours of waiting Mrs. Basinger finally announce the teams for the final round. Ben Wynia and Elizabeth Essley (surprise? I didn't think so) The second team was..... Paul Milliman and Amy Williams! Thats right my partner and I were in the final round. It was so incredibly crazy as soon as I heard that we had made it I thought they for sure were joking, then I started hyperventilating, I looked over at my partner and he just had his head down saying no, no, no, no.
Well we didn't win the final round. I don't think anyone was surprised about that but I was excited because it was my first time ever being the final round. I was real happy even though we lost because I'm a sophomore so I have several years to get better!!!!
