I'm not sure of much, but the one thing I am sure of, which gave me pure joy, I've denied.

I read a story about a woman whose wallet got stolen at an airport. When she got to where she was going she realized her wallet was gone so she (I'm assuming) called all the credit card companies and her bank to inform them. She then said an affirmative prayer for whoever stole her wallet and she continued to say this same prayer for years and then one day...seven years later...her wallet showed up in her mailbox at her new address in Virgina. Her license that was stolen had her South Dakota address on it, so how this person got her new address is questionable, but the person enclosed a note thanking the woman for her kindness in letting the thief take her money and use it all! P.S. The story said nothing of her getting the money back but all the cards and her licesnce was in the wallet.

I have mixed feelings about this story. 1) How did the thief get her new address!?!? Something that today we call identity theft? Maybe the woman hadn't talked about that in her story. And 2) I guess prayer really does work...or maybe it's just the thief felt guilty and had to get rid of it.
