For many years I've subscribed to the Intenders Messages Online, and they've been a source of spiritual upliftment and wisdom. Today's message I feel called to share with you as there is much truth written within Reminder #116 about what we let come through us.

I witness this phenomena all the time both in myself and in others, and I call it "Spirit Speaking". It's often uncanny what others will say 'out of character'as they shift into another character/sub-personality/entity/being or whatever else you would like to call it.

Like this message states, we can state our intentions for only the Highest Beings to occupy our body for the purposes stated below. It's our choice.

Receiving Your Own Messages

I have a copyright on my work, but I can't say as I'd enforce it if someone with good intent wanted to take a portion of it and use it. In fact, there is one piece of information that I've gleaned in the last few years that I would encourage my readers to copy down and use freely. My good friend, Debra Ward, who runs the Intenders Circle in Houston, calls it The Intenders Prayer and I mentioned it in the seventh step of The Bridge earlier, but it is so important that I mention it again here. It has to do with the instructions I give myself before sitting down and picking up a pencil or speaking to a group of people.

I've come to realize that there is an exactness, a clarity, that is required when we begin to make contact with helpers from other dimensions. Whether we know it or not, all of us are receiving messages from the invisible a good deal of the time. Entities from invisible worlds come and go from our bodies and we don't even realize that what we're saying may not be coming from us, but from a being who just popped into our body to pursue its own interests. We're a world full of people who have given free-reign to the rest of the energies in the Universe, to use our bodies at their discretion. If you think about it, this would explain all of the mood swings, self-detrimental activities, violent and nonproductive behavior you see all around and within you. We're simply letting some invisible being use our body.

A good example of this can be found in the writings of most of our present-day, best selling authors. Stephen King, for instance, has surely tapped into an almost unlimited source of information, (he says it's a cigar chomping muse). But the fearful nature of his work suggests that it's doubtful if his muse is interested in creating a better world for us to live in.

Indeed, we can enhance our creativity and beneficent behavior by using this new knowledge wisely. We can invite beings who only stand for the Highest Good to use our bodies. We can issue clear instructions to those who would come in and borrow our voice or our writing hand.

I know that this will sound like an oversimplification to many of you, but I suggest that it is entirely possible that the world we live in would take a monumental change for the better if we were to stop for a moment before we say or do anything that is of value to us and give ourselves brief instructions for what we desire to follow. My whole world began to change when I began to stop and take a minute or two to talk to the Universe each time the outcome of my actions was important to me (which became more and more frequent).

For me, taking that moment or two became the difference between caring and not caring. I began to see a noticeable difference in the quality of my work. And, at the same time, everything got a lot more enjoyable for me.

So, like I said, you can borrow my instructions if you like. Put them to the test. See what comes out. I intend for you all the best that life has to offer.

The instructions I use are:

1. I ask that everything needing to be known is known here today.
2. I Intend that I am guided guarded, and protected at all times.
3. I Intend that all of my words (or writings) are clear, precise, uplifting, helpful, and fun.
4. And I Intend that all of my words and thoughts and deeds serve the Highest and best Good of the Universe, myself, and everybody everywhere.
So be it and so it is.
