  • one more year!

yes, one more year til I'm 21. I'll be enjoying the free drinks until then, I guess. lol, then I can finally go out with my sister and older cousins without having to borrow Andrea's ID! (which I only did once, and it worked!) :P

uuuaaaahhh. BORED. It's Labor Day weekend, but the sales aren't that great at all. Though my sister, my cousin, and I all bought a couple tank tops from Anchor Blue since they were only $5 each! Haha, and I got a new pair of jeans to replace my old ones that have been fading at the knees :)

Ohohoho, I also recently bought the girliest 2 piece swimsuit that I've ever tried on. I tried it on as a joke at first, but something about it made me compelled to buy it. Plus, it was on clearance for only $12! How could I not get it! I mean it's pink and white, has cherry patterns, and a frilly skirt thing going on for the bottom part, but I think the part that got me the most was the impact it has.  IMPACTO!!!

So my roommates will be moving into our new apartment this week. I won't be cause I'm still in Norcal, but Casey, Jean and Kristy are nice enough to help me move some of my boxes for me. I also kinda forced some of my stuff on James to take care of. kekeke. It's nice to be able to trust them and that they're willing to help me out. Gotta treat them out to return the favor!

Yay, I can't wait to live with new people! Last year I got paired with 2 randoms and, while it wasn't bad or anything, it didn't really feel...well it wasn't like how I was imagining. But this year, I get to live with people I actually know and get along with! So yay for that!

Hahah, I laughed when I heard my mom say that she likes Ashley Tisdale's old nose better.

  • Macross on my mind

Forget about the summer jobs I planned to get. When there's only a month (and a half) left of summer, there's nothing better to do than laze around at home and put (unnecessary) strain on my eyes while watching shows and playing MMO games. My return to nerddom...

I swear, I can't remember the last time I went out of my own house before today. Well, that's exaggerating it... cause I still go out to eat and even went to Great America today... okay, now that I ACTUALLY THINK about it, I went out a lot last week xD and even went down to Irvine to visit two weeks ago :D and also went to Reno the week before that! haha!

Pokemon prizes at Great America, the shady motel I stayed at near Irvine, prizes at the ring toss at Circus Circus/Reno

Last week I did a lot of shopping trying to buy this "satin blue bubble dress" I wanted to wear for my mom's friend's daughter's wedding banquet that happened last Saturday. But I couldn't find it on such short notice, so I ended up wearing the same green dress I wore to Jessica's wedding dinner back in June. Shame that I couldn't find the blue dress, but of course, I had to try on some other dresses while shopping :D however, none of them were suitable for the wedding dinner... because: (excuse my dressing room headless-self-body-portraits, HAha)

    1) waaay to short for normal wear, totally a clubbing dress though, even comes with a belt!
    2) cute for a day outing, not for the dinner
    3) made me look too old >< lol but it had a nice mature feeling to it!

I've pretty much gone through another k-drama/j-drama/movies phase, they're so addicting! Checked out:
    - Before and After: Plastic Surgery (k)
    - Fantasy Couple (k)
    - Himitsu no Hanazono (j)
    - Zettai Kareshi (j)
    - Shinigami no Ballad (j)
    - Flower Boys (k)
    - Voices of a Distant Star (j)
    - The Promised Place of our Early Days (j)
    - She and Her Cat (j)
the last three are SHINKAI works I looked up after coming across his name on a page I was looking at for the movie, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. Which I HAVE to rewatch sometime.

I've shed many tears because of all those...of course they're hilarious to watch as well.

So being done with the live-action stuff, I thought I should finish watching the anime series that my friend gave me earlier in the year. I had finished Clannad, and Kanon, and the first episode of Macross Frontier. But I'm so totally into Macross right now! When will I be able to watch episode 20??!! Ahaha, the songs are really catchy! plus Alto is tooooootally lovable!

Alto-hime's famous scene! well done, animators xD

But if I were to cosplay, I'd pick Ranka :P It'd be so fun to be her character >< or even all three of them! Alto, Ranka, and Sheryl!!!! looo~~~oove~~ why did ep19 have to end with such an emotional cliffhanger?? >0<

Love triangles are so tiring on the tear ducts.

no more episodes, so I turned to surfing the net and found:
    http://mainichi.jp/enta/mantan/graph/anime/20080727/index.html
"The Macross Frontier Superlive was last night, and mainichi.jp has pictures and a report from the event. Pretty much all the songs from the series were performed, including Kanno Yoko herself playing a piano/ballad version of Triangular to Sakamoto Maaya’s singing. Nakajima Megumi and May’n finished the concert by performing the new OP Lion together."

    OMG http://randomc.animeblogger.net/2008/07/21/ranka-lee-starring-nakajima-megumi-seikan-hikou-live/ DECULTURE!!!!!!

whoooa and I just stumbled on another video! It's Gurren Lagann!! (http://randomc.animeblogger.net/2008/06/15/the-daily-dose-9/)
Gurren Lagann Parallel Works - Rap is a Man's Soul

cuuuute! Even Viral gets a happy ending :]

Wah! stumbling across more Macross (mostly Alto) goodness!

Brera and Alto = <3, but here Ranka is not so <3 as usual :/

  • As I told Gabby, I've come back to Xanga to blog. Don't know how long it's going to be between posts, haha, maybe another year? But she inspired me to do this one. It all started (on a Monday?) when I decided to call her to hang out, so I could ask her to watch the Dark Knight with me. But as it turns out, she already watched it the night before >__< Eventually, I ended up at her house for dinner!

Which was yummy by the way. I'm so going to Mitsuwa to buy some of that pasta sauce we ate. Thanks for feeding me dinner, Gabby!!

So we talked for a long time. Seriously like from the moment I stepped in the house until I left. We talked about reading books/manga, and movies/anime to watch, of course, school and people. It was fun!

Hahah, there'd be these semi-moments of silence sometimes when we changed topics and what's funny is that we both made noises like those thinking "hm"s and "uh"s. And I noticed that I said "I don't know" in a kind of quiet sing-song way when I didn't know of didn't have anything more to say on the matter xD haha I dunno xD

    <-- chocolate thief

Oh, I actually ran into some of her family today, in Milpitas Square, after I got my hair cut. Then I ran into them again in Ranch 99, 99 Ranch, whatever. Actually, from the front, my hair kinda looks like Gabby's now. hehehe

  • Xanga has grown up. Hmm -____-
It's forced me to update everything too, my password and the look&feel.
But I still get those subscription updates in my email like everyday :P
Ahh memories, Xanga really, really should have a print button. Who knows what I've saved in this account for 3? 4 years?
As it turns out, I didn't get any mail (from you) in college.
    Fine, then Facebook me.
