| Otter pops, sandwiches, and GodSo today I had a crazy revelation. I was looking at this box of otter pops.
And then I got this. The little characters are otters. And they're called Otter Pops.
I just got that. Did anyone else not know that? Or is it just me? Today, we were at Fry's and there were little yummy bread samples out. so I got a few. And then Nina got some deli turkey. So I stole some and got two little sample breads and stuffed the turkey in between. Then she got some cheese so I added that to my little sandwich and then enjoyed a delicious treat. It was grand. So Beth's post reminded me of a story. At school one of my classes' doors is really heavy and, being the weakling I am, is incredibly hard to open. So this one day I was walking toward the door and I was a little down and didn't have that great of a day, and I was looking at that door thinking, "I really don't want to open that." And just as I got near it, some random kid just yanked it open and kept walking. I tswung open widely and was open long enough for me to slip inside. He didn't go in or even look back. Just opened it and kept walking. I was like "WOW." It wasn't a prayer or anything but it showed me that, no matter what, God is always mindful of us and our thoughts and desires. It's amazing. I have read about the days of old About the men who followed You And how they saw the supernatural And became the chosen few
So I come before You now Tearing off my earthly crowns For this one thing I have found
I want a faith like that To see the dead rise or to see You pass by, oh, I I want a faith like that Whatever the cost, I'll suffer the loss, oh, I I want a faith like that
I'm not looking for a miracle Signs and wonders or things thereof I caught a glimpse of what You want for me And what I have is not enough
I read the story one more time Of those who gave to You their lives With no fear or compromise
I want a faith that can move any mountain And send them to the seas I want a faith that can break every stronghold That keeps You, that keeps from me
And I want a faith like that To see the dead rise or to see You pass by, oh, I
I want a faith like that A faith like that
