School is the lamest thing ever invented....if it was invented.

Things have been pretty interesting lately for me.  Especially with school starting.  A lot is changing  in my life and it will only get more interesting in the next couple of years after i graduate college.  I can't believe it i'm getting old and i'm not even ready for it.  I turned 20 not that long ago for those of you who didn't know.  Yep no longer a teenager and it feels like it too.  Crazy how things happen and you don't realize how fast they went until they have already passed.  Anyway i better stop before this gets way to long.

Keep it real,

Kelly*

so today was the 2nd day of my photography class and it's been pretty cool so far...  we went to Riverside Park today and  i took a hell of a lot of cool pictures...there's a really good one of this squirrel...another one of a frog...and a bunch of this duck family...and there is a lot of art in Riverside Park that i didn't know was there before and another great thing is I have an idea where i will be rowing next year....it looks pretty nice but it's not the same as our old river, well technically it is because it's still the Arkansas but it's not....oh, nevermind.....well maybe when the class is over or at midterm i will post some of my best pics on here....but for now i will just steal some cool ones off the internet...

Job 2:1-10

"Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord. (2) And the Lord said to Satan, 'From where do you come?'

Satan answered the Lord and said, 'From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.'

(3) Then the Lord said to Satan, 'Have you considered My servant Job, that THERE is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?  And still he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause.'

(4) So Satan answered the Lord and said, 'Skin for skin!  Yes, all that a man has he will give for his life.  (5) But stretch out Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will surely curse You to Your face!'(6) And the Lord said to Satan, 'Behold, he IS in your hand, but spare his life.'

(7) So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord, and struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. (8) And he took for himself a potsherd with which to scrape himself while he sat in the midst of the ashes.

(9) Then his wife said to him, 'Do you still hold fast to your integrity?  Curse God and die!'  (10) But he said to her, 'You speak as one of the foolish women speaks.  Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?'  In all this Job did not sin with his lips."

*This passage is very important to me because it reminds me that even in the tough times God is standing by. And that we shouldn't get angry with God about things going wrong in our life, we should accept them and thank Him during those times more than the good ones because without the bad we wouldn't be able to appreciate the good.  We should be more like Job.*
