Hi everyone... sorry, it's been a little while since I've been weblogging, but it has been pretty busy here at work... I put up a new picture of Thumper and me right before Easter a "few" years ago... It's kinda hard to see cause it's small, but you can see Thumper...

My Mom and Dad are returning from Disneyland today from their trip last Sunday... I'm looking forward to seeing them and chatting with them about all things "Disney"... sometimes when they go and I don't get to go, I have to live vicarously through them... LOL...

A lady came in my office today and noticed all of my "Disney" memorabilia and so we had a nice chat about Disney... it's so fun to talk about... her favorite ride is "It's A Small World"... she's hoping to be able to take her grandchildren soon...

Okay, a tip for the day... when you walk into Fantasyland, right across from the Peter Pan ride, look West, and wait a few seconds and you will see the Wicked Witch from Snow While open up the curtains in the tower and look down upon you...

Hi everyone... 9/11... what a day to remember... I bet everyone remembers where they were when this tradegy happened... I do... I was in a hotel waiting to get up and get ready to go to Disneyland... my Mom called us from the room next door and told us to turn on the TV... and the rest is history... Disneyland did close for that day and I'm glad they did... it would have been hard to go and try to enjoy... we did, however, go to a restaurant for breakfast and came across some "senior citizens" that had "Disney" jackets on... I found out that they meet every so often through out the year... you see, they used to work for Walt Disney... they told me that he was a wonderful man and was good to work with...

I hope we all never forget to stay united and to try to keep peace in our nation... May God Bless...

Hi everyone... today, not too much going on so far... Hope everyone is doing good and is thinking DISNEY... it should always put a smile on your face...

Tip of the day: After you enter Disneyland and come to Main Street U.S.A... look to your left and see the fire station... above the fire station is a window with a light on... that was one of Walt Disney's Apartments... they keep the light on all of the time in honor of him... Also, if you go upstairs above the Pirates of the Carribean to the Walt Disney Gallery, that too was to be one of Walt Disney's Apartments... you will be able to see the fireplace and different rooms... they now have a wonderful gallery... go and enjoy this area...

Hi everyone... well, it has been great having so much rain this weekend... the plants, trees and grass are very happy, I'm sure... I hope the rain didn't cause any problems with anyone but it is sure nice to have it in the desert.

Very busy today at work... but I don't mind... I wish I could have slept in a lot longer this morning though as I know I'm gonna be really tired soon... I guess that will be okay, as it'll be time to slow down on the work and take a long break... LOL.

Okay, I'm gonna try to post a few "tips" on experiencing Disneyland a couple of times or so a week... so hope it helps when you all go... The "tip" of the day is: Eat the Fantasia Ice Cream... it is wonderful and was a recipe that Carnation made just for Walt Disney... you can't get it anywhere except in Disneyland... you can get it in a cone or in a dish... Also, one more tip... make sure if you get an ice cream cone to push the ice cream down in the cone with your finger a little bit... I've seen too many people go to take a "lick" and the ice cream fell on the ground... kids especially don't like that...

Hi... I actually got some time this morning to get on the computer... my son's friend that spent the night just left and so Chris, (my son) went to play at the neighbors house... so, I just thought that since I had some time to relax, I would get on the computer...

My parents are getting excited and are already packed to go to Disneyland next week... Tedi, their dog notices the suitcases and likes to sneak things out of the house to get them to take her for a car ride... LOL... she's funny... actually, they have a wonderful friend that dog sits with her and Tedi loves her... she has 4 other dogs and they all play together.

I have this wonderful collection of "Disney" at home and I'm looking at one of the pictures of me when I was about 7 or 8 years old with my Mouse Ears on and of course with the big cheese himself... "Mickey Mouse"...  at that time at Disneyland, you could join the Mickey Mouse Club... I still have my membership card... (yes folks, I'm talking about the original Mickey Mouse Club)...   As many times as we go to Disneyland, I still miss it when I'm not there.
