APPLE PIE (Jackie’s receipe)
2 pie crust
3/4 c sugar
1/4 c flour
½ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
dash salt
6 c sliced apples (about 5
medium
2 T butter
Heat oven to 425 degrees
Stir together dray
ingredients, mix lightly with apples. Pour into pie shell and dot with
butter. Cover with top crust seal,
flute, slit. Cover edge of pie with foil
(remove last 15 minutes)
Bake 40-50 minutes until
crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through slits.
(For green apples increase
sugar 1/4 c)
