| ah...in the mood for some blogging after...3 years? hahaha. *sigh* I guess this is mainly just to take my mind off of other things. let's see, what's happened this past couple of months. awesome Taiwan trip, followed by piano state convention in Riverside, I guess next event worth mentioning would be cousins coming back from Taiwan? o yes, had a piano lesson before they got here that night. hm, was it that same day, yes it is, it was on a Thursday, which also included Christine's jazz trio at the Kobe Japanese Restaurant. wow, eventful day that was.
went up to Fremont with cousins for what was supposed to be a 3 day stay that turned into almost a week. Drove up on Friday, didn't get back until Thursday night because Jee Jee couldn't get packed soon enough. Partly my fault probably, taking up their time as soon as they got back from Taiway. Great time up in Fremont though, even though there wasn't supposed to be a lot of things to do there. what did we do? hmm...ah yes, first night there, played basketball with 3 other guys. won all three games, first two to 11, then third to 7 cause my nose hurt after the guy smacked me in the face and almost broke my glasses--pretty pissed, mostly at myself for not wearing contacts. haha...didn't want to ask Jee Jee to bring me socks/shoes aaaand contacts/solutions now. haha. I finished the last game pretty quickly, and I say I because I scored all the points.
wow, turning into a basketball rant. hm, what else happened on the first day? I think that was the day we walked to Lucky to get milk and other goodies for the week. yay fun walk. Watched Hancock with cousins, was gonna watch Hellboy, but changed after getting drink and food cause I remembered that my brother probably wants to see Hellboy more than Hancock. I liked Hancock, pretty good movie.
hm....can this be more about my personal thoughts? has it been long enough? I'll bet nobody checks this anymore. feeling quite nostalgic these days. can't really talk to anybody about this either. aaaaah Kevin. you know, the church retreat started off great with nice text, then, it just got progressively worse, in one area anyway. Great speaker, great food, great retreat.
anyway, back to fremont week. ooo~bought a football with margie after movie while Jee Jee slept in van. that was fun. I'm guessing this was Saturday. because I think this was before Sunday where we went to filipino church. And then we went and got Rockband from Fry's, haha~yes, made Jee Jee very happy indeed. Stopped at in-n-out before heading home though, A-ee wanted some food.
whaaat else? don't remember the order of things and what day we did them. But we went kayaking in Monterey, that was awesome, ended up kayaking with Jee Jee for several hours, we went and asked to use phone in store afterwards because my phone got wet in the ziplock bag and died. After I-dieu came to pick us up, we went over to McDonalds and ate yummy mini meal for $2.99, 4 piece nuggets, small fry, and drink, I wish thye had that at all locations. Afterwards, went to Antique place. Spent some time at the old maps with Margie and Jee Jee, picked out one with Jee Jee before I saw Disney cartoon thingys, then Jee Jee came and pointed out the Esquire, pinup girl collection. nice. haha...she went up stairs, and then I picked up Sports Illustrated. Saw really cool wooden chair that doubled as a toilet. haha. Got mommy a scarf. Ended up not getting the Sports Illustrated.
On another day, we went to Berkeley with Margie. Didn't think Jee Jee was gonna go cause she hasn't packed yet, even though they started packing the night before, which is why I slept outside at the couch. earlier in the night, showed Margie and Jee Jee Sports Science videos. Anyway, she ended up coming with us. Took crappy car cause Vicky took the Corolla, rode the Bart to Berkeley. Went over to Margie's housing place, she sat with her friend and boy while Jee Jee and I sat at couches and ate candy the guy there offered us, I was starving, so I had some of that candy that I don't really like...don't even remember what they're called now. Afterwards went to eat Kimchi fried rice, I got curry and Jee Jee got black bean paste noodle thingy. Then we went to Papamingo to get yogurt, kind of like Pinkberry, all sour flavors, I got mango, Margie got regular and Jee Jee got Pomegranite. Walked around Margie's campus afterwards and went to the bookstore before riding Bart back. got kind of crowded, gave up my seat to guy with cane, he was grimacing everytime the bart turned of stopped. Anyway, got up and stood next to Jee Jee and Margie. They then scooted down and let me squeeze in. then...a bunch of kids got on at the stop with the baseball stadium.
alright...getting too much into the details now. what else....I think that's pretty much the big eventful things, sprinkle in Band practice here and there. | | |
| aaaah~in the school library right now. hahaha~woke up around 7:15 todaaaay =D. yeah, didn't get to school till like...eight, which is when my class starts. didn't get near my classroom till 8:20, so I decided not to go! =D
lalala. I'm gonna watch the southpark movie with mandy tonight.....hahaha....never seen southpark before...but um...well. it'll be a new experience.
oooo! my brother made really yummie food last night! =D I'm thinking of writing down all the yummy stuff he makes and then make a menu out of it so in the future when i go see him, I can just pick something on the menu and have him cook it =P
thanksgiving need to just come and be over with, I want Christmas! and presents =P | | |
| laaaaaala! I'm sitting outside the vocal jazz rehearsal room waiting for mandy right now. fun stuff =)
anyway! first choral concert tonight. aaahahaha~I ripped my tuxedo pants the second time I wore it. hahaha. it ripped down the side, from my pocket down....yeah....not a good place to rip. but anyway~bought it back to men's warehouse and they fixed it for me and pressed it for free! in like, 10 minutes =) that was cool.
laalalala~running the mile isn't that baaaaad. I ran a mile today =D, yeah, after my workout. anyways, college college, fun stuff =) | | |
| whooooo~so last saturday, me and mandy had our first "gig" as individuals. I played piano and she sang, I accompanied her for this recognition dinner thingy for this power 4 youth program. we didn't get paid, however, we did get free dinner =D, yum yum. we also got a 10 dollar gift certificate to this italian restaurant in the long beach area and two passes to this Museum of Latin American Art place.
anyway~it was fun. ah....I want to play basketball....haven't played since like...august? maybe that's why I'm gaining all this weight, no basketball! | | |
| yaaaay~my parents are back from taiwan =) went to LAX with my brother to pick them up tonight.
so yeah. wow. by tomorrow, mandy and I would have been going out for a whole year.
