| I'm looking at photos from my brothers wedding while sitting in the holiday inn cocktail lounge drinking a cosmo and checking email and such with fellows CATSmates. My life is wicked good right now. I heart my family. I heart them so much.
the past week and a half has been madness here in kentuckiana. ive been in rehearsals like mad. you can't even imagine. well its cats - so yeah - its pretty intense. lemme think of what to say.
i love my housemates. three kids from ccm. two gays - one white one mixed - both beautiful and fierce in totally different ways. one lesbo who is demeter and belts like mad. a girl from NY who went to AMDA who I adore and a kid who graduated from point park. he doesnt chill with us too much but we love him. we all have secret cat names for ourselves and people in the cast (from the naming of cats. the third name.) mine is power bottom. hah.
I had a show crush but im over it. that was a 36 hour wish.
we havent gotten to see louisville because of rehearsals but im looking forward to seeing the city.
i wish i could do DDD and cats at the same time - but alas. much love KC

| So fate would have it that I would meet a boy right before I leave for Kentucky.
I met this guy through a friend at PRIDE, we hung out there, and I was too big of a dorkon to get his number - whatever. Last night I had the mutual friend over to watch a movie and we called Daniel to come over. He shows up dressed to win. White jeans, black v-neck T, great belt and flops, and just enough Banana Republic brief showing to be hot. The kid is baby faced and dorky, he speaks music, and is going to school of political science.
The three of us talked all night long, went out to WAHO and to Walmart at like 3 - he grabbed some "Crush" soda and flung it at me. We go back to my house, our buddy passes out and he and I talk and cuddle til 645 in the morning. He had work at 8. And we kissed those really soft little kisses and my stomach went into knots. He said something like, "It's a cruel joke meeting you now." My timing always fucking sucks. But I'm seeing him tonight and leaving tomorrow. What is my life? The second I say, screw it, I have no time for boys, this 6ft tall, baby faced, sweet. smart, and funny kid plops onto my couch. WTF?

PS I may go all military style on my hair and whack it all off - I dont want to have to deal with hair under that wig all summer. We'll see. I may look like I just went through chemo.

| So It's my fourth night in NYC and I'm having a really nice time. I've been on my own, just meeting friends as I see fit as opposed to traveling with a companion. That's been odd.
Light in the Piazza is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. And tonight I saw a dance concert. Sean Curran dance company rocks my face off. The second act was ART/SONG/DANCE - with LIVE music by Ricky Ian Gordon (love him) and four vocalists. One of them was Michael so and so who was in the revival of Big River and he rocked my socks off. Talk about an awesome evening. Then off for drinks and then when all had gone to bed I snuck off to SPLASH and danced with some hottie on vacation from Seattle. Good times. He had a great ass . . . ha. Now I have to go to bed and get up in an hour and a half to go see the Backstreet Boys on the TOday show. yes. . . I know . . . it's too funny to say no!

| My brother's wedding was this weekend. It was a wonderful experience and it was great to spend time with all my family. A lot of cousins were around and aunts and uncles and that was great. The ceremony was amazing and my brother was an absolute wreck which made it hard to keep it together - being best man i saw he and his wifes faces the entire rime. That was amazing, I'm so priveledged to have seen it. I cried a little during my toast but it went well. Anyways it was amazing and I'm glad to be back while they are in Hawaii.
