OK, time for my semi-annual xanga update!

And I guess I'll just start on what is going on with me.. considering this is my online journal and a safe place to be narcissistic.

School... School is going very well. I am in my second quarter at IADT here in Chicago for fashion design and I really love it. Its a TON of work since its an accelerated program (i'll have my BFA in less than 3 years) but I really have found something i feel a passion for (1st time really in a career sort of way besides performing.) I find myself being quite often the eager kid with the hand raised at every question the teacher asks, which is totally annoying but oh well. Anyway, I'm happy with my decision to go there and I'm excited to get into more design classes later on.

Work... I now work at a place called Argo Tea where I am a tea barista. It really is the weirdest place and I swear in 5 years they will be EVERYWHERE like Starbucks. Currently only 3 exist but the owners have very big plans and the product is really unique, really good quality, and efficiently executed. People ask us if we are owned by the big S all of the time. Despite the corporate image of the place, I really like the people I work with and the owners and managers are all really cool. So if I have to work alot, it may as well be at an easy job where its really easy to make friends.

THE BF... Evan is doing well. He's in his 2nd year at Colombia and works really hard. He also work at the school's library where he doesn't work really hard haha. He has a new band. I haven't heard them play together yet but I really like the guys he is playing with and Evan seems really excited about the music they are making. He says at times its a little on the Emo side but in the best way possible ala At the Drive In  He has also been really busy putting together and rehearsing for a second band made specially for our Halloween party next weekend that is going to play all the the Hedwig songs. It will be noisy but really fun.

There's not that much more going on right now. I promise I will try and write more.

Guess who is going to Lollapalooza!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is going to be such a great summer! Bahamas in June. Lollapalooza in July. Moving to the Northside in August! Hopefully getting ready to start school! I am so freakin excited.

Also I'll be back home in 6 days!!!!! :)

Time for yes, a real live entry! YAY!

So what you may ask, is going on in my exciting BIG CITY life??????????

ummm, not much but here's the rundown:

Work is going really well.... I really enjoy visual merchandising and its led me to possibly pursue a degree in fashion design? I had to work work at 5am this morning.... it totally kicked my ass.

Ummm, I've been working out a ton and I'm finally seeing some results,its exciting. Crunch gym is so fun. Its one of the best ways I can think of to spend 70 of my hard earned dollars a month.

My live life is good. Evan and I have conflicting schedules so we don't get to see eachother as much as we would like, but nonetheless we are going strong. I mean, come on, its us. He's playing with a band now and from what I have heard so far they are really good. He's playing atColumbia's talent show on Thursday so I'm excited for that too.

I had a horrible performance last weekend and am really shaky as to what to do about that whole situations. Sometimes I really want to quit and other times I really like it.

I really am itching to get into SOMETHING. I want to go to school and start a fulfilling career but I feel so lost. All I did for so long is dance, I don't even know what I'm good at.

I'm coming home for 4 days in May for my bro's graduation. 12-15. Call me if you wanna hang out.

And I'm going to the Bahamas in June. I can't wait. I bought a dress online today to wear for my cousins wedding, its so pretty and girly!!

Oh also, we are moving in August I can't wait to start to find a place on the Northside... soooo much better than this I swear. I love my apartment but dislike my neighborhood. There's nothing to do here and there's no train.

well that's about it.
